How long does it take?
30 - 45 minutes per IV infusion
Does it hurt?
When the IV is placed, there is a brief pinch, once the needle enters the vein, the needle is removed, leaving in place a small flexible catheter, which delivers the IV infusion. We use small gauge needles and will walk you through the experience compassionately with your comfort as our top priority.
Are you licensed?
Vital Flow IV is owned by S.B. Carli MD. All IV's are placed by licensed Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses. All IV fluids and nutrients are medical grade and sourced from a 503B compounding pharmacy. We are in compliance with all of California's strict laws regulating IV hydration.
