We did the 3 hour tour on Friday February 6, the weather was perfect and so was the tour. Derick was our guide - he was very informative on the stops we made - I was very interested in the wildlife, landscape and terrain and he answered all my questions. I was skeptical of the price but it was worth every penny. great job and thanks Dave

FABULOUS! There is certainly no wonder you all have been named number one for over a decade. This is one of the best excursions we’ve had in over 30 years. It was first class from the beginning to the end~all-terrain military grade vehicle to the fabulous Mountain landscape to include so much various wildlife as well as captivating various cactus species, trees, brush, wildflowers. Our guide, Ian, is an Army Veteran and made our tour a six star if five is the best I can give. His knowledge and personality made our day so special. God bless you and thank you for your service, Ian! It was also wonderful to meet your marine counterpart, Tyler, as well. Many thanks for his service as well.

This tour far exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny. Amazing sites and a great guide! Derik made the tour educational and fun! We even saw some wild donkeys. My 17 year old son loved driving the Tomcar! 10/10 recommend!

Desert Wolf Tours was not only awesome, but educational as well. Tour Guide Derik shared information on cactus plant life and animal wildlife, pertaining to the desert. We even had the chance to see wild donkeys, roaming the mountain side. The landscape scenery is beautiful. The 4 seater TomCat had just enough room, to be comfortable. The TomCar has great suspension and torque to crawl up and down the mountain trails. We were warned about the cars having manual brakes and steering, however that was not an issue. I had a blast driving the TomCar. Having an off-road rock crawling background from years ago, this adventure brought memories and an awesome experience that I will never forget. All in all, if your in Northern Phoenix, I HIGHLY recommend you reach out to Desert Wolf and schedule a tour! Being from Weat Tennessee, Desert Wolf Tours made a lasting impression on my 1st trip to Phoenix! ! !

We all had a great time on our Desert Wolf Tour with our terrific guide Ian. We went on some exciting trails, saw some amazing views & even ran into a small herd of donkeys. Ian was friendly and informative sharing knowledge about the Sonora Desert I hadn’t herd before.

So much fun with Derik! There were 4 women in our group. We each took turns driving. What an adventure through the desert. All the cacti. Even wild burros/donkeys. Derek shared fun facts about plants & animals. We loved every minute if the 3+ hours. Thank you.

This was every bit as fun as the reviews promised! My 79-year-old mom giggled through all of the bumpy driving, and the desert views were amazing. Hats off to Ian, our guide, for a really good time and some good tips on the driving.

Tyler showed us an amazing time, was a great instructor and very knowledgeable. If you are in AZ you definitely need to check this out. Top to bottom a great experience.

Had work team event and had the pleasure to have Tyler and Derik as our guides, they made the experience beyond fun, educational and entertaining! I wasn’t expected to learn as much about the plants and animals as we did…kudos to Derik on his education and weaving in some great funny comments! I really appreciated the level of comedy that was subtle yet witty, got to listen closely to get the most entertainment. Thanks guys for taking great care of us, our group of 18 had a blast!

This was so much fun. I was worried about the bumps and stuff, but it was all good. I felt safe. We stopped every so often for Derik to explain about the various plants and animals, and for him to take pictures of us in beautiful places! Definitely recommend.
