Beginner-Friendly Island Paddleboarding & Snorkeling Experience in North Miami

About this Experience

What you'll do:

You'll receive a brief introduction on the basics of paddleboarding and snorkeling before we head out onto the water to explore a mangrove jungle. As we paddle out to the islands, we’ll be on the lookout for all types of wildlife, including manatees, birds, crabs, fish, and possibly even a dolphin. We’ll explore the natural wonders of the area while on our way to the island, where we will relax and snorkel. The island is terrific for beginners or more advanced snorkelers, as there is plenty to see in the water. Even if you can't swim, this is a great snorkeling spot. It's very shallow, so if you ever feel uncomfortable at any point, just stand up. Also, everyone will be equipped with a flotation device.

While on the island, we will enjoy fresh fruit and drinks, including watermelon, cantaloupe, or bananas. Drinks are included (totally free!), all you can responsibly drink, including beer, hard seltzers, and water. You won't be rushed and allowed to take your time to fully soak up the experience.

Why we love it for your party:

  • Perfect mix of adventure + chill (Start with a light intro to paddle boarding and snorkeling, then spend the day exploring, floating, and relaxing — no experience required!)

  • Instagram-worthy vibes (Crystal-clear water, mangrove jungle views, and island lounging = the ultimate backdrop for group pics and Reels)

  • Wildlife spotting fun (Keep your eyes peeled for manatees, dolphins, colorful fish, and more — it’s like your own real-life nature documentary)

  • Beginner-friendly (Shallow waters, floatation devices, and friendly guides make this perfect even for non-swimmers or first-timers)

  • Island picnic paradise (Fresh fruit, refreshing drinks, and zero time pressure — just sun, sand, and laughter with your crew)

  • The ultimate bonding moment (Whether you’re celebrating a bachelorette, birthday, or just life, this shared adventure brings the group even closer)

What should we bring?

You should be ideally dressed in a bathing suit because you will get wet no matter how careful you are. If you do not want to get tan lines, it is better to wear a long-sleeved shirt underneath your swimsuit. We will also suggest you wear a hat so that you don't feel the heat of the sun when we get into the middle of the ocean. Sunscreen with an SPF of a minimum of 30 is recommended to protect your face and body from tan lines and heat rashes. We will suggest you wear your comfy aqua shoes during the tour, and if you don't have them, you can wear your sports sandals. If you are coming to Miami during winter, you should carry a windbreaker and a sweater to beat the chilly breeze of the ocean.
