Frequently Asked Questions for Dough Much Fun! — Private Sourdough Making Party

Question 1

1. Do you come to our Airbnb or vacation rental?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! The Gathering Circle brings the entire sourdough-making experience directly to your Nashville Airbnb, vacation rental, or private event space. Just make sure your rental allows hosted activities.

Question 2

2. How many guests can participate?

Accepted Answer

Our private sourdough workshops are designed for groups of six or more. Larger groups are welcome! Contact us to discuss your party size and any special arrangements.

Question 3

3. How much does the experience cost?

Accepted Answer

Our sourdough-making parties start at $40 per guest, with a $300 minimum private-party booking. All ingredients, supplies, equipment, and guided instruction are included.

Question 4

4. How long does the experience last?

Accepted Answer

Plan for approximately 90 minutes of hands-on sourdough fun! You'll learn how to care for a sourdough starter, mix dough, and understand the techniques behind creating delicious homemade bread.

Question 5

5. Do we need any baking experience?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! This workshop is designed for beginners. We'll guide everyone through the process step by step, so you can relax, learn something new, and have fun with your favorite people.

Question 6

6. Will we bake bread during the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Sourdough bread requires several hours of fermentation, rising, and baking. During our workshop, you'll learn the process and prepare your own dough, but finished loaves will not be baked during the experience.

Question 7

7. What will we take home?

Accepted Answer

Each guest receives sourdough starter, dough to continue working with, and instructions for completing the bread-making process at home. Since sourdough requires additional fermentation and baking time, we recommend planning ahead if you're traveling or flying home.

Question 8

8. Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Accepted Answer

Traditional sourdough contains wheat and gluten. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions before booking so we can discuss possible accommodations. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
