"Design Your Own Jacket" Experience (BYOB)

What you'll do:

Participants will dive into our curated fabric selection, picking out unique materials to craft a one-of-a-kind jacket. From colorful patches to textured fabrics, guests can also choose buttons, trims, and other accessories to personalize their jacket. For a sentimental touch, participants are welcome to bring fabric pieces, patches, or even old garments from home to incorporate into their custom creation.

Following the workshop, we’ll handle the sewing, ensuring every jacket is crafted to perfection. Within 14 days, participants will receive their upcycled jackets, designed with care and purpose, aligning with our dedication to quality craftsmanship and sustainable fashion.

About this experience partner:

2nd Class Fanny started out as a joke—a funny little accident, really. I went on a river rafting trip with some friends, and three of the tubes popped almost immediately. I kept the blown-out tubes and later made fanny packs for everyone as a chaotic memento of the day. As the owner of a sustainable home goods store, I decided to keep the upcycling momentum going. Now, we take what might otherwise be trash and turn it into treasures—everything from fanny packs to jackets and coats.

• Our workshop is hosted at Lite Foot Company, but we’re happy to bring the experience to your location if preferred.
• Bring your own textiles: Feel free to bring any fabric, patches, or sentimental pieces from home to incorporate into your fanny pack design. All materials and tools are provided, but personal touches are welcome!
• New sewing experience needed: we'll do all of that!
