What you'll do:

Cruise the famous Marina del Rey from the water and see beautiful boats and sea lions. At the same time, you learn Marina navigation and lifetime paddle skills, with pictures and videos of your experience to share with friends and family forever!

Paddle Method is an accredited SUP school focused on making paddle boarding fun and accessible for all. It simplifies the complex paddle stroke technique—based on SUP race and surf strokes—into easy-to-understand elements. This approach helps paddlers of all levels build confidence, improve technique, and enjoy a low-impact, high-powered workout. By syncing body movement with the paddle stroke, it maximizes momentum and ensures a fun, confident experience exploring Southern California’s waterways.

Additional information:

• Dress as you would for an outdoor workout appropriate for the weather on the day of your paddle. This could be swimsuits, jogging or yoga clothing, and sunscreen as needed.
• If you wear glasses, be sure to bring a strap.
• Most paddlers do not fall but it's good to have a towel or change of clothing just in case. You will get wet up to your knees.
