Looking to host a special event in your home using flowers for a specific intention or celebration? Look no further than our signature Floriography Class where we bring the art of The Secret Language of Flowers into your home!

Appropriate all party types, The Floriography Fellows will come to you bringing their knowledge, expertise, and love of flowers! Whether it is a themed party, birthday bash, or a just-for-fun gathering, flowers are always a joyful entertainment.

Our signature Floriography Classes are an immersive experience into the history of the secret language of flowers. Considered by many attendees as a self-care journey, we will discuss how Floriography came to be from the global perspective, hitting is heightened of extravagance in the Victorian Era before becoming an all-but-lost art-form at the turn of the twentieth century.

Then we will work stem by stem to build a bouquet, learning about the significance of each stem, what it means in the language of flowers, and appreciating its unique properties. This is not a paint-by-numbers class, every participant is encouraged to design their arrangement in whatever way speaks to them. The Fellows will be there to provide insights into floral design and stem usage, of course, but the end result will be a different beautiful artifact each as unique as its designer.

What’s included?

The Fellows will bring the florals and stems, stem-cutting materials including gloves and pruners, vessels, and some display items including a list of the provided stems and their Floriographic meanings.

The typical cost per person is $65. A deposit of this value is required to schedule a consultation. Exact pricing will be discussed at the time of the consultation. Fresh flowers aren’t the only blooms that get the spotlight at Floriography Fellows. We also dry our own florals in-house, free from chemicals, dyes, or paints, to create stunning dried arrangements, wearables, flower garlands, and more. Our dried blooms are the heart of our floral spell jars—each one carefully wax-sealed to preserve its beauty and Floriographical meaning. Recently, we’ve introduced a new line of handcrafted earrings, pendants, and pocket or desk charms, all made from dried flowers and stems, wax-sealed for protection and to show off your unique, personal style.

We’re as committed to sustainability as we are to the art of florals. Whenever possible, we source our flowers from local farms, compost anything we cannot use, and avoid plastics in our distribution. We believe that beauty and responsibility go hand in hand, and we strive to ensure our practices reflect that.
