Yes! You are welcome to BYOB and there is room for large coolers under the bus.

What is the cancelation policy?

Accepted Answer

We offer full refunds, no questions asked until 7 days prior to the game. Less than 7 days prior we are unable to refund. Also this is a rain or shine event.

Is there a bathroom on the bus?

Accepted Answer

Yes! There is a bathroom on all Athens Blitz buses.

Where in Atlanta does the bus depart from?

Accepted Answer

The bus departs from the downtown Marriott Marquis at 265 Peachtree Central Ave NE

What time does the bus depart from Atlanta?

Accepted Answer

The bus departs from Atlanta exactly 5 hours before kickoff.

Question 6

What happens if I am late getting to the bus?

Accepted Answer

You will be left. The bus LEAVES the Atlanta Marriott Marquis (265 Peachtree Cent Ave).  exactly 5 hours prior to kickoff and LEAVES Athens exactly one hour after the game ends. We suggest arriving at the pickup location at least 30 minutes earlier so that we can get you checked in on time.

Where in Athens does the bus park?

We park at the The Classic Center about a 15 minute walk through campus to the stadium.

Question 8

What time does the bus depart UGA after the game?

Accepted Answer

The buses depart exactly 1 hour after the game is over. Which is more than enough time to make your way back to the bus with plenty of time to spare.

Question 9

Can I leave items on the bus?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The bus that you take to the game will be waiting in the parking lot until departure time.

Please keep in mind that the drivers are “off the clock” during the games and often lock the bus doors until the beginning of the 4th quarter.

Can kids come?

Yes! Kids ages 5+ are welcome onboard, but please be aware that the buses are full of football fans.

Is a ticket to the game included in the price of the bus ticket?

Accepted Answer

No! A Athens Blitz ticket is only for round trip transportation to the game from Atlanta.

Do you offer group discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Group discounts start at 15 people and include reserved seating.

Question 13

How long does it take to get to UGA on game day?

Accepted Answer

A good run to UGA with game day traffic is about 2 hours. (Please be aware google will tell you otherwise, but that is not a realistic number). Rest assured we want to get you there as quickly as possible and have literally spent years figuring out the fastest way into the game.

Do I need to pre-purchase tickets?

Accepted Answer

We highly recommend that you book your seats as early as possible, as we often sell out weeks or months in advance.

Is there room to store a cooler?

Accepted Answer

Larger coolers can be stored underneath the bus and smaller ones are welcome onboard. If they fit on your lap, they fit overhead or under your seat.
