Question 1

Are advanced reservations required?

Accepted Answer

Yes, reservations are required and subject to availability.  For weeknight samplings (Monday-Thursday), we generally can schedule within a few weeks of your special event.  For weekend samplings (Friday-Sunday), we book up much faster and require reservations at least 4-6 weeks in advance.  Have a specific date in mind before purchasing? Question 2

How do we request a date for our wine sampling experience?

Accepted Answer

You'll be directed to our site to purchase your sampling experience.  Once purchased and you have at least one date in mind for hosting, redeem your voucher on our website's redemption page: https://www.prpwine.com/redeem.  Our team will receive the booking request and follow up via call, email, and/or text message to confirm availability and confirm booking details.

Question 3

What do we need to supply during our wine sampling?

Accepted Answer

You and your guests will need to supply just one wine glass per person, pens for taking notes, and a dump bucket/spittoon if desired.  Your Wine Consultant will bring the wine selection and tasting notecards.  We understand you may be traveling out of town for your event, don't worry if your wine glasses don't match or might be non-traditional, we are flexible!  During booking, you may also inquire about our custom etched wine glasses that can be created for your special event!

Question 4

Do we need to provide food for the sampling?

Accepted Answer

We do recommend providing some light bites for your sampling, as simple as some cheese, chocolate, and crackers, or a more upscale appetizer, charcuterie, or potluck selection.  Unsure of what to provide?  Don't worry!  Just reach out to your Wine Consultant, and they will be able to offer a variety of ideas to have available.

Question 5

How many wines are included in the sampling?  What happens when we are finished with the educational experience?

Accepted Answer

Your event includes 8 bottles of custom selected wine based on your palates and preferences.  When the sampling ends, you get to keep the remaining wine to enjoy after your Consultant leaves.

Question 6

How are the wines selected for our sampling experience?

Accepted Answer

Once your date is set, your Wine Consultant will reach out a week or so before your sampling experience to discuss the wine selection.  They will inquire about you and your guests' preferences to customize the 8-bottle selection with wines from 13 counties around the world.  Not sure what you'd like to sample?  No worries!  Our Wine Consultant will make the selections for you!

Question 7

Can we add more bottles of wine or guests to our experience?

Accepted Answer

You can discuss add-ons with your assigned Consultant once your experience is booked.  We offer the opportunity to purchase more bottles to sample at full price before your experience.

Question 8

We have some guests attending our event that are under 21 years old.  Are they able to be present for the experience?

Accepted Answer

Any guests under 21 are permitted to be present and listen to the educational sampling experience, however, they are prohibited from sampling.  We will check IDs of all guests before beginning the sampling experience to verify who is eligible to sample the wines.

Question 9

We love your wine, how can we acquire it for our homes?

Accepted Answer

Our wines will be available to order at the end of your sampling experience, though there is no obligation to purchase.  Since we do not sell to restaurants or stores, many people fall in love with at least one selection that they want to order to enjoy later.  We promote our wines in case quantities and ship right to your door.  We currently can ship to 23 states in the US.  Your Wine Consultant will be able to help you with the ordering process.

Question 10

Do we tip our Wine Consultant at the end of the experience?

Accepted Answer

Gratuity is up to you, but if you enjoyed your sampling and the time with your personal Wine Consultant, they always appreciate gratuity as a way to say thank you.  The amount is up to you, although most gratuities fall in the 15-25% range.
