About this Experience

What you'll do:

You and your crew sit down with a dual-certified sommelier and bourbon steward at a 200-year-old Nashville estate and spend 60 minutes tasting your way through three award-winning wines, a bourbon cocktail, and a neat bourbon pour, each one paired with a gourmet hors d'oeuvre crafted by the Executive Chef on site.

  • Expert-led tasting: Your sommelier walks you through the fundamentals of wine and bourbon tasting, explaining the why behind every pairing rather than just telling you what to drink.

  • 3 award-winning wines: Each wine in the flight is selected to complement the season's menu, so the lineup you taste reflects what the estate grows and sources right now.

  • Bourbon cocktail and neat pour: The tasting includes one crafted bourbon cocktail alongside a neat pour, giving you two distinct ways to understand how bourbon interacts with food.

  • Chef-crafted hors d'oeuvres: The Executive Chef designs each pairing plate to work with the flavors in the glass, and the menu rotates seasonally so repeat visits never feel like reruns.

  • Small group format: Public pairings are capped at 16 guests, which means you'll actually talk to your sommelier, ask questions, and hear real answers without shouting over a crowd.

Belle Meade is seven miles from downtown Nashville and set on 31 acres of historic grounds. Your ticket covers the full pairing and all-day access to the property, so there's plenty to explore before or after your tasting.

Why we love it for your group:

  1. Dietary options built in: Every seasonal menu includes gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free pairing options, and the team can work around additional allergies when you list them at booking.

  2. Full-day access included: Your wine and bourbon pairing ticket gets you onto the Belle Meade Historic Site from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so the experience doesn't have to end when the glasses are cleared.

  3. More to do on the grounds: Before or after your pairing, you can explore the estate, grab a drink at the bar, catch live music on select days, meet the resident horses, dine at one of two on-site restaurants, or grab coffee and ice cream.

  4. Private booking available: Groups larger than 16, bachelorette parties, and anyone wanting a more tailored afternoon can book a private tasting by contacting the winery directly through the contact details in the Additional Information section below.

  5. Instagram-worthy setting: The historic grounds give you 31 acres of scenic backdrops, from the antebellum mansion to the manicured lawns, without having to manufacture the photo opportunity.
