Question 1

Do you provide alcohol?

Accepted Answer

We don’t provide alcohol directly, but if you’re joining us at Tapster Philly, you’ll have access to their amazing self-pour bar with a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails to sample and enjoy during your painting session.

For private events at your own location, you’re welcome to bring your own beverages or arrange catering as you prefer—just be sure to follow any local laws and venue policies regarding alcohol.
We have a list of vendors happy to partner with you!

Question 2

What kinds of tables and chairs will I need to provide for an on location event?

Accepted Answer

For the best painting experience, here’s what we recommend:
Tables:
Sturdy, flat tables large enough to comfortably hold a canvas (usually 16x20 inches or similar), paint supplies, and drinks. Rectangular or banquet-style tables work great. Ideally, each guest should have about 2 feet of table space to spread out their materials.
Chairs:
Comfortable chairs with back support, arranged so guests can sit side-by-side without feeling cramped. Standard dining chairs or folding chairs work well.
If you’re using round tables, we can adjust the setup, but just let us know ahead of time to plan accordingly.

Question 3

Parking at Tapster Philly (16th & Sansom Streets)

Street Parking:
Limited metered parking is available in the area. Metered spots are typically enforced Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your event to secure a spot and account for walking time.

These garages are within walking distance of Tapster and offer a more reliable parking option, especially during peak hours.
Public Transportation:
Consider using SEPTA services to avoid parking hassles. The 15th Street Station (Subway) is nearby, providing convenient access to Tapster.

Question 4

Can we just join a pubic class?

Accepted Answer

Yes, definitely! Public classes are open to everyone 21 and over and a great way to enjoy a fun, creative night out without needing to book a private event.

Our regular weekly classes happen at Tapster Philly during these times:

Thursdays: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Saturdays & Sundays: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
