This place has definitely earned all of its 5 star reviews! Comfortable, clean, fun, amazing staff and amazing rooms. The group I was with did the Heist and the difficulty levels are definitely accurate from what we saw. The puzzles were rewardingly challenging, and none of them felt utterly impossible to crack. Definitely consider coming here whether you're going solo or with friends or family! 💗

I used to hate escape rooms, but then I came to the escape game and had the time of my life. Our game master Jared was a 10 out of 10 master and also a pretty cool person! Will totally be back!!

Gmo was such a warm and enthusiastic host and made the experience even more fun! We managed to do the Heist in record time without hints (although I will say this was mainly due to our brilliant team mates.) there were so many unexpected aspects to the room that I enjoyed! I definitely would recommend.

Amazing escape rooms. We’ve been to several other escape rooms in New York, and these guys are definitely the best. Over two days, we completed 5 out of 6 rooms — we simply didn’t have enough time for the sixth one. Every room is wonderful and incredibly engaging, from the puzzles to the atmosphere and the storyline. Special thanks to the team — you all did an incredible job. And extra thanks to Gmo and Emily. You truly made our evening (and night 🤪) unforgettable.

This place was honestly the best escape room I’ve been to in a long time! The rooms were built very well, esthetically but also the puzzles were so clever and made sense! You knew what to do with the puzzles and the clues you received unlike other escape rooms I’ve been to. There were also a lot of different puzzles, in the heist I’d highly recommend if you’re in a group of 3+. Outside of a great game it was my birthday and they gave me a birthday gift and wished me a happy birthday after the game ended🥹❤️ Which says a lot because that’s rare! Now idk if they do that all the time, my birthday is Christmas Eve but maybe you’ll get lucky who knows 😅🥳 I had a great experience with our host RJ! Very kind and made the experience a great one. Thank you

The kids and I had a blast. Our clue master Fae was awesome. We made it with 15 minutes to spare. We will be back to play another game.

If you’re scrolling deciding whether to go, stop. Book the room. New or experienced players will have an amazing time. This company is truly a gem at this price point. This location is one of very few to have Legend of the Yeti so deciding to visit family for the holidays was heavily influenced by being able to play lol. When we told our game master this was our last room with TEG they made this adorable card that had me on the verge of tears. Special thanks to Guillermo & Alex for making our game amazing!

We chose The Escape Game for our 100th escape room, and it was exactly the right choice. Their rooms are always high quality, and the customer service never disappoints. We played Legend of the Yeti, which was a fun and thoughtful challenge even for two experienced players. The immersive set design sold the Himalayan setting, and the puzzles struck a great balance between tactile, low-tech, and high-tech. Our Gamemaster, G’mo, was excellent and provided well-timed hints that kept the game moving. We’d heard this room was built on the framework of Gold Rush, but having played both, the similarities stopped at the layout; the puzzles and interactions were entirely different. Having played multiple The Escape Game rooms across various locations, we can confidently say they’re fantastic for both first-timers and experienced escape room fans.

We played prison break! So fun but challenging! You will need a 2 groups of people to start so not for a two person game but we were paired with another group and was able to escape!

The escape rooms are awesome! Had a great time with the depths room and we liked it so much we ended up doing a second one, the timeliner. Definitely recommend this place for a fun night out!

The rooms were amazing quality and the staff were SO nice! We stopped here while we were visiting from our of state, but I wish we had one of these at home as well. It was absolutely worth the money, and if we find ourselves back in NYC we would definitely be back. Thank you for a great night!

We played the Hulu collaboration room based on Only Murders in the Building while visiting NYC. SUPER fun game with lots of cool Easter eggs for fans of the show. Vinny was a great game guide!! Highly recommend!!!

My friends and I booked a last minute room on Halloween and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Anthony was amazing and helpful throughout the experience and we had a great time playing the Timeliner room. This was the perfect activity for a chill night out and we will definitely come back again!

Did the OMITB escape room for my birthday with a group of girlfriends and we loved it! Our game guide, Drea, was awesome - very fun and enthusiastic, and when we requested clues, she gave us just what we needed to keep going. I've done 10+ escape rooms and this one was by far one of the best. The production quality is amazing - highly recommend!

Cool room, pretty intricate and combines many types of riddles and challenges. A 10/10 location. Sierra balanced amazingly giving hints vs letting us sweat. Recommend.

It was such a great time—Vinny, Sierra and Drea were fantastic and helped us have an immersive and excellent time. So fun and the staff was incredibly energetic and helpful!

Absolutely fantastic staff with incredible rooms. Both the front desk and team members were extremely welcoming and kind. I got a tour of the games and the layouts were amazing to see and the assistant manager was extremely informative about their games. Highly recommend this experience!

This place is amazing. Super kind staff and intricate rooms with lots of puzzles. The prison escape at a 9/10 difficulty is their hardest room and definitely worth the try. We came out with 4 minutes to spare and felt so accomplished. The Special Ops and limited-time OMITB room were also good challenges but definitely went quicker than the prison room. Also they wrote me this adorable happy birthday card while I was in the room and it was so sweet!! Recommend 10/10 and get the Groupon deal for your group for a nice discount!

So much fun and exciting! We went for my nieces and nephew's 12th birthday! They enjoyed every minute! We ate definitely planning to come back! Aidan and Caitlin are the best! They made evening fun and memorable.

It was our first escape room experience. I gave it to my boyfriend for our Anniversary. We enjoyed it! The stuff work really awesome! I loved them! They gave us gifts. Escape rooms are so much fun ! We will come back again and again , I promise!

This was my first escape room and I was skeptical at first but I ended up having an amazing time. My son has played some with different companies but said this one was the best he has ever played. I highly recommend coming here if you are into puzzles, especially to escape the summer heat. The rooms are beautifully made and very engaging. I was very impressed with how well everything was designed. Thank you to Alec, Raelin, and Vinny for helping us every step of the way.

We played the Only Murders in the Building room and we had a blast! The rooms were beautiful, so immersive, and the puzzles were very unique. I highly recommended if you are looking for a fun challenge. The staff were also SOOO incredible. Everyone we came across was so kind and attentive. We couldn’t have done it without our fabulous game guides: Alec and Raelin who gave such helpful clues and got us through! Thank you also to Vinny in the lobby for helping us out with our merch and reservation details!!:) We had such a great experience and we can’t wait to come back and tackle more rooms together!

Incredible escape rooms in every regard (production value, complexity, intuitive, fun)!!! The staff are amazing and the price is just right! Came into town for the weekend and ended up doing 6 rooms in 2 days. Out of the dozens (possibly hundreds) of escape rooms I’ve done, these 6 rooms were all in my top 10 of all time!! Highly recommend!!
