Reviews for Emerald Cove Kayak Tour Near Las Vegas Through Black Canyon

Absolutely incredible! Julia was AMAZING, I want to listen to her talk about the desert plants and geology ALL DAY. She took tons of amazing pictures of my friend and I, which we appreciate SO MUCH. 💜🧡 12/10 I wanna go back!

We had a great experience, and a great guide! I would recommend this guided tour to anyone who loves adventure. Thanks Ryan for everything!

Awesome kayaking trip. While Emerald Cove was the destination the whole way was gorgeous scenery!! Your guide Ryan was knowledgeable and lots of fun!

What a beautiful experience! The views are incredible. Like a movie or dream. Michelle our guide was freakin awesome. Very knowledgeable about the history. Thank you!

Our guide Preston was great. We really enjoyed the Emerald cave trip. Would love to do the 12 mile downstream trip.

Had the best day on the Emerald cave kayaking tour. Our guide Michelle was extremely helpful, informative and fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to break up their trip to Vegas

We decided last-minute to do a Kayaking trip our last day in town and could not have made a better decision. The trip with River Dogz was one of our favorite parts of the week. It was a windy day but Michelle and team took great care of us and made it an adventure. It was a small enough group where we got a lot of attention but also had time to just be on our own and enjoy the paddle. Communications before were fantastic and super helpful, and they were flexible when the weather became iffy. Altogether a really wonderful experience.

Worth every penny. Preston was organized and very inclusive-chatted with everyone. Great day trip. Enjoy the beauty of the area!

Amazing. Beautiful day. Great people loved it 10/10

Loved the River Dogz guided kayak tour to Emerald Cave. This stretch of River is calm and picturesque with shockingly clear water. Even without the cave it would be worth the trip. Preston was a pleasant and knowledgeable guide. High marks all around!

Our tour guide Ryan was amazing! Had insightful knowledge of Las Vegas and good conversations.

Our kayaking experience was A+. It was so relaxing and Preston was a fun and knowledgeable guide. He certainly makes your colorado river kayaking experience fun not wanting your day to end.

The entire experience with Riverdogz was over and beyond what I hoped for! Michelle has so much energy and knowledge just th icing on the cake! Already looking forward to flying back and doing it again!

Me and my Wife had a great experience! Very fun with beautiful views and very informative due to Jessica, she was exceptional! I highly recommend booking it!

We had a great time kayaking and would absolutely do it again. The river was calm and very manageable, even for those without much kayaking experience. What really stood out was how clear and beautiful the water was, especially when the light hit just right, it turned this incredible emerald color that made the whole experience feel even more special. Michelle was an awesome guide and truly made the trip. She was informative, friendly, patient, and brought such positive energy the entire time. She also went out of her way to take plenty of photos for everyone, both individually and as groups, which we really appreciated. She even led us to a cave spot that turned out to be a fantastic photo opportunity and one of the most beautiful parts of the trip. Highly recommend this experience, especially if you get Michelle as your guide.

Fantastic kayaking tour with Ryan on a gorgeous day. He was knowledgeable and funny and the entire family had a great time!

We had the pleasure of having Michelle as our guide for the kayak tour. We learned a lot of information about the wildlife and the scenery, while also enjoying the awesome views. Michelle always checked in on in, providing us with unlimited water and snacks while also taking pictures of my family and I. Would definitely recommend anyone to book a tour with River Dogz ☺️👍

Michelle was our guide on that day. She was very knowledgeable about all the places along the way to our destination. She gave excellent instruction about how to kayak, huge relief and very helpful for myself as I had never kayaked before. While on the river she kept close eye on everyone in the group. She took some amazing pictures of us all and sent them for us download! I gotta say, I highly recommend this company and I hope to do this again!

Preston was an amazing guide and the tour was very well organized and so much fun! I would highly recommend this adventure!!

Awesome experience. The guide made the trip!

We had the best time with Michelle. She made sure everyone knew what they were doing, were safe, and had a great time. Would definitely go again.

Awesome experience! Preston was on time, very knowledgeable and gave us all so much confidence on the water. Highly recommend!

Gabby made our tour smooth, easy, and fun. She was full of fun facts and gave us a great sense of the area. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Not on purpose, we were pretty much as difficult as possible. We were late parked wrong wore the wrong shoes left keys in vest had to come back make them dig for them. Despite all this, we were treated AWESOMELY! I dont know the girls name but she had long black hair she take care of us intensely even tho we were kinda frazzled! Will be back!

This was an outstanding adventure, and such a great alternative to get out into nature while you're in Vegas. It was easy to find (about an hour drive out of town), and just gorgeous. Ryan was a 10/10 "no notes" guide. I am a travel advisor, and I will be recommending this tour to all of my clients who are looking for something besides casinos on their Vegas trip!

Julia was incredible, she made our experience fun and exciting from time of pick up, kayaking, small hike through drop off. Great way to get off the strip and have a blast. Thank you and a must do in Vegas

Preston was amazing. He was knowledgeable and helpful for those (mainly me) that was struggling! He was down to earth and really chill! We told him the next time we are in town we will be booking again!

What a great day! We drove to Willow Beach for the half day kayak tour and had a nice small group of people in our kayaking group. Our guide, Michelle, was exceptional. She gave us so much useful and helpful information and she really added to the whole experience. Going above and beyond to take photos of us and got to know each of us individually. She was educational and fun! The river trip was gorgeous, as was the cave. So glad we chose River Dogz. They’re a friendly and professional group. Would definitely highly recommend.

We had a GREAT time. Preston our guide makes sure to tell us many interesting facts while having individual conversations with everyone along. We would sign up again in a second with this company. Great job guys!

We had an amazing experience! The team was incredibly friendly, professional, and passionate about what they do. Everything was well organized, and the hike was both beautiful and well explained. We felt safe, welcomed, and truly enjoyed every moment. You can really feel the care and dedication of a small, family-owned business. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an unforgettable hiking experience. Thank you again — we’ll definitely be back!

5 Stars all across the board!! From communications regarding your booking to the pick-up/drop off, River Dogz was top notch!! Our tour guide was Michelle and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the land and very fun to hangout with! She even took pics of our group to capture moments that we couldn't while kayaking!! Whenever we're back in Vegas, we will be booking this excursion again!! Tell a friend to tell a friend, River Dogz are the tour to book in Vegas! They also provided water, snacks, (healthy ones and regular chips, etc)! They thought of everything!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first time ever kayaking and I had such a blast with River Dogz, Michelle was an excellent tour guide and instructor she made this experience truly a great one and next time I’m in Vegas I’ll definitely do another tour with them!!!!!

This was the perfect experience for me. We were picked up on time in a very comfy van. The guide gave us a great history of where we were driving. We were set up with boats and life jackets and were calmly explained all the things we would need to know. It was a calm and beautiful day on the water and the guide was friendly and patient. It really was the perfect day made even better by the company that brought us out.

Beautiful, relaxing trip to gorgeous green water.

This was my first time doing this and our whole group and tour guide were awesome and very helpful. They made this an amazing experience for me. The views were beautiful!

Tour guide was very professional, even in the face of our crude sense of humor. He was helpful, friendly, and took some great pics.

We had a great time ! Michelle was fun and informative. She took a lot of pictures and engaged all of the guests on the trip. We would definitely do this again!
