Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you service?
Snake River Wine Tours serves the Sunnyslope Wine Trail (Caldwell) about 40 minutes from downtown Boise. We can offer a general pick-up location such as Downtown Boise, The Village of Meridian, or the Indian Creek Plaza in Downtown Caldwell, or an at home or hotel pick-up with private groups of 10 people within the Treasure Valley (Location subject to approval).
Can I choose which wineries we visit?
We’re always happy to hear your requests and will do our best to include them! While we can’t guarantee specific stops, our afternoon tours typically visit up to four wineries. We’re proud to have wonderful exclusive partnerships with some of the region’s best wineries—and we can’t wait for you to experience them!
How do I pay?
To confirm and pay for your tour, simply click “Book Tours” on our website to view our availability calendar and select your preferred date. For large private groups of 10–14 guests, you can confirm your private tour by paying for the group in one easy transaction—this lets our system know your tour is private and closed to the public. Prefer for everyone to pay individually? We’re happy to send you a private booking link so each guest can confirm and pay on their own. You’re also welcome to call our friendly reservations team at (208) 995-1197—we’re here to help you book and confirm over the phone!
How long is the tour?
Monday-Friday: Pickup is around 11am, drop off around 5:30pm. Saturday-Sunday pickup is around 10am, drop off around 4:45pm. We allow about an hour at each winery. The itinerary will be sent to the host of your group at least 24 hours in advance.
Can I drink alcohol in the vehicle?
Unfortunately our insurance will not allow it.

Can we bring our own lunch?
Yes! You are more than welcome to bring a lunch or picnic to enjoy at one of the wineries (based on winery restrictions). All of our tours include water and packaged snacks. We also offer individual charcuterie trays as an add-on. Some wineries offer small bites for sale or may have a food truck on the weekends.
Is there an off-season for wine tasting?
Absolutely not! Spring, summer, and fall are definitely the busiest times of the year. Although winter is slower, almost all of the wineries are still open for tastings!
What if I want to book a tour during the week?
Reach out to us—we’d love to help plan a customized tour just for you! While most wineries are open Friday through Sunday, there are a few open seven days a week that offer a more relaxed and laid-back experience.
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds. All ticket sales are final. You may give your seat to someone else for your scheduled tour if possible.
