Frequently Asked Questions

How much will we be eating and drinking on this tour?

You’ll be eating almost a full meal consisting of an appetizer portion, entree portion, and dessert, plus 4 half cocktails. You may still have room for dinner before or after your tour – and we’ll be leaving you at a fantastic place to continue your evening.

Will the tour start in the same spot as it begins?

You’ll end about a 10 minute walk from where the tour begins. Because you’ll be drinking quite a bit, we intentionally planned the tour to start and end in different spots to discourage driving. We encourage you to take an UBER or Lyft to and from this tour!

How spooky is this tour? Is it more of a ghost tour or a Prohibition history tour?

This tour is the perfect blend of cocktails, food, ghosts, and Prohibition history. Each tour group is different, and our guides tailor the balance of ghost stories to history depending on what your group seems to be most into. So whether you want the scariest ghost stories or aren’t really into ghosts at all, tell your guide! However, note that this is not a paranormal experience tour – you won’t be doing any ghost hunting. And you’re also unlikely to see any ghosts (but if you do, PLEASE tell us about it – and send us any orb-tastic photos you capture!) For more grisly true history and spine-tingling ghost stories, we also offer a Dark History & Ghost tour along Whiskey Row with no food or cocktails – but lots more spooks.

Is this an after-dark tour?

Because we’ll be visiting some of Louisville’s most popular bars and restaurants, our tour starts early to ensure there’s plenty of room for us at each stop. And depending on the time of year, it might not even be twilight by the time your tour finishes at 8PM. Luckily, we’ll be leaving you at an absolutely stunning viewpoint to catch the sunset - and plenty of time to continue your evening along Whiskey Row!
