From the moment we arrived, the experience was electric! Our guide, the incredible Xavier, was absolutely awesome! He didn't just walk us through a tour; he treated us to a fascinating, rich history lesson that was part Tennessee lore and part masterclass in the art of whiskey! He was so knowledgeable yet totally down to earth, making the whole learning experience a ton of fun. But the real showstopper? The whiskey tasting! 🤤 It was pure liquid gold! We got to sample five distinct whiskeys, and each one was a unique explosion of flavor and character. Seriously, every sip was better than the last! Bottom line: You HAVE to put this on your bucket list! If you want history, hospitality, and some of the best whiskey tasting of your life, the Uncle Nearest Distillery is where it's at! This trip was awesome...the logistics were spot on! Every detail was handled seamlessly. Our driver, Jimmie, was hilarious and kind. Our tour guide, Karen, was AMAZING --dripping with facts, fun, and southern charm! We loved learning the history, touring the beautiful grounds and the tasting. It filled my heart with so much pride to know the history of Uncle Nearest and the process, and then be able to taste perfection. The Humble Barron was a sight to behold and where I had the best Creamy Expresso Martini of my life!! 💚🖤 We cannot wait to return!

The history of Uncle Nearest was very interesting. Terrell, our tour guide was engaging, funny and knowledgeable. We left the tour feeling proud of the accomplishments made by the owners and the entire team. We want to visit the world’s largest bar again in the future for one of the many events hosted by Uncle Nearest. I recommend all to stop by and learn some history and have fun while you’re doing it

My boyfriend (a bourbon lover) and I (bartender) have been wanting to visit the Uncle Nearest distillery for a while, and our experience exceeded every expectation! From start to finish, everything was incredible. Our tour guide, Xavier, was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history of Nearest Green come alive in such a meaningful way. The whiskey tasting was a highlight—we had the chance to try a variety of expressions, including one that’s no longer available and another exclusive to the distillery. Each pour showcased the exceptional craftsmanship that Uncle Nearest is known for. We also loved our meal at Barrel House, where the food was just as impressive as the whiskey. Afterwards we had a couple of cocktails at Humble Baron, which we learned is the longest bar in the world. Happened to come on a night where live music was playing and really enjoyed our evening. If you’re a whiskey lover or just appreciate rich history and great hospitality, a visit to Uncle Nearest is a must! We’ll definitely be back.
