We booked a 3 hour tour while on a family vacation. 8 adults, 4 kids ages 4 to 6 mos. Captain Guy was fantastic. Very personable and knowledgeable of the area. He did everything possible to ensure our trip was what we wanted to do, he made sure we were safe and that everyone had a good time. The kids got to see dolphins up close and sea turtles. The water was a bit rough to swim with the dolphins, but we tried anyway. Ended the trip on shell island. All the adults and kids had a great time finding and looking at all the marine life you would expect to see. My family vacations on the Gulf Coast every year and the next time we're in this area, we'll call Capt Guy again.

Our family had a wonderful time! Captain Tim was very accommodating and a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the dolphins didn’t cooperate too much for us to jump in with them but you can’t control nature. We had a great time snorkeling and finding treasures on the ocean floor! It was something my family is going to remember for the rest of their lives.! Thanks for giving us a fantastic time!!

We took the 4 hour tour with CAPTAIN MIKE!!! He found every dolphin pod in the Gulf! We are a family of 5 and live in the mid-west so anything ocean is fantastic! Saw so many dolphins and young ones, and were sooo thrilled! Water was smooth and clear. Absolutely recommend! 5,000 stars!

We had a fantastic time with Captain Guy. The water was choppy in mid-June, but we still saw several dolphins. He also showed us an osprey nest and crab baskets, and we snorkeled Shell Island. It was a highlight of our trip. My 15 year old loved it. She took 100 pictures and loved the dolphins. It's worth every cent. Remember to tip your tour guides and captains!!

We scheduled a private tour with Capt. Guy. I cannot say enough good about Capt Guy and the company. The boat we took was clean with all standard safety equipment (a review of all safety equipment was conducted by Capt Guy.) Capt Guy was able to take us to multiple pods of dolphins where we were able to snorkel with them. Afterward, my daughter expressed an interest in shelling, and Capt Guy took us to an island where she was able to pick up many beautiful shells. If you are looking for a company to tour with, I would highly recommend Blue Dolphin Tours, and Capt Guy.

We enjoyed our trip! Captain Guy was helpful, knowledgable, and flexible to accommodate us. We saw tons of dolphins, kids got to swim with them, snorkeled and found some sand dollars and sea urchins. While swimming my daughter lost her Apple Watch, Captain Guy took his own time the next day and went back out on the water and found it!! We couldn’t be more thankful! Highly recommend!

Captain Paul was spectacular- friendly and personable, knowledgeable, and really eager to make the experience whatever we wanted it to be. We were fortunate to have great conditions to see lots of dolphins, and even got to see some sea turtles and a manta ray! Blue Dolphin allowed us to really personalize the experience to what was important to us, instead of being stuck with a timed agenda. I couldn’t recommend them more- it was a phenomenal experience!

We booked this dolphin tour as a group of 5 - grandparents, parents & 4 1/2 year old. I paid a little extra so we could have the boat to ourselves (6 person boat). This was so worth it; every single one of us absolutely loved it! Captain Guy took us to all the dolphin areas, plus gave us some history of the area. Our littlest one fell asleep before we saw dolphins, and when she woke up he drove back a ways to make sure she saw them. He even let her drive the boat! I highly recommend Shell Island Blue Dolphin Tours. We will be back - and we will request Captain Guy!

We had the best time with Captain Mike! He knew where to find the dolphins and all the marine life we were hoping to see. Capt. Mike took us to a more secluded area of Shell Island and told us where to find the best shells. We found so many large, beautiful shells. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire excursion and were thrilled to see all the marine life. I highly recommend booking your tour with this company!
