What is included in the Zen Tubing Trip on The French Broad River?

Accepted Answer

You'll get a super-deluxe tube with a backrest and cup holder with a covered bottom. The tubes have the ability to hook together with your friends and family. Free parking and a shuttle ride are also included.

Can I bring my own beverages?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can bring your own beverages. We offer cooler carrier tubes for coolers up to 50 qt. Please note that glass is not allowed.

What is the age requirement for the Zen Tubing Trip?

Accepted Answer

You must be 18 years and older to float, or at least one member of your group must be 18 years or older. Groups without at least one adult (18 years or older) will not be permitted to go tubing.

What happens if it starts raining during the trip?

Accepted Answer

During our season, we are open rain or shine. If it starts raining during your trip, continue down the river. If it starts thundering or lightning, pull over to the bank and stay in your tube. Generally, storms pass through the mountains quickly. Once the thunder/lightning stops, continue your trip.

What forms of payment are accepted on-site?

We are currently only accepting debit and credit cards on-site. Cash is not accepted.

What should I do if there is thunder or lightning during my trip?

Accepted Answer

If it starts thundering or lightning, pull over to the bank and stay in your tube. Once the thunder/lightning stops, continue your trip.

Accepted Answer

Yes, the tubes have the ability to hook together with your friends and family. This makes it a great experience for groups.

What if the weather or river levels force you to close?

Accepted Answer

If weather or river levels force us to close, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund without penalty.
