Hot Tub Cruisin Boat 1 holds up to 12 people in your party for a 2-hour self-captain cruise on Mission Bay. Self-captain cruise means that you drive the Hot Tub Cruisin boat yourself. The boat is very easy to operate and goes only about 5mph. We run you through a thorough orientation to give you all you need for a safe and fun cruise.

When can I set sail on a Hot Tub Cruisin boat?
We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to set sail 365 days a year, from the early morning at 9am until the starlit hours of 11pm. Your hot tub cruise is ready when you are!
Who is eligible to command the Hot Tub Cruisin boat?
The helm is open to anyone aged 18 or above, holding a valid drivers license. No specific boater's license is required in the state of California. Check out our captained cruises for an even more luxurious experience.
Where am I allowed to drive the Hot Tub Cruisin boat?
During your cruise, you have the freedom to navigate anywhere in the picturesque Mission Bay without crossing under the Ingraham Street Bridges. Drive to the middle of Sail Bat and enjoy the tranquility of being in the water, on the water. Please note, for the safety of all, the boat should never be "beached" or taken within 100 yards of the shore.
Am I permitted to bring food and beverages on the boat?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along your favorite snacks and beverages (including alcohol, please NO GLASS, consumed responsibly). Please refer to our rules and regulations for safety concerns related to using a hot tub in combination with alcohol consumption. Our boat features a large cooler on board and a small cooler in the the hot tub for your own convenience (please bring your own ice). For safety, we kindly ask that no glass of any kind is brought on board.

Can I bring alcohol on the Hot Tub Cruisin boat?
Yes, as stated in the previous FAQ, you are legally allowed to bring alcohol on the boat. We ask that no glass brought on board and that you exercise moderation and good judgment, keeping in mind that there should be a designated driver of the boat who will abstain from drinking.
Is the Hot Tub Cruisin boat safe?
Absolutely! Our boat is equipped with all the required safety gear, including 12 US Coast Guard approved life jackets, fire extinguisher, and a safety sheet that includes the Hot Tub Cruisin staff contact information. Rest assured, our boat has been inspected and approved by the USCG for your peace of mind.
What if nature calls while I'm out on the boat?
We recommend all guests to use the restroom facilities immediately prior to departure. However, should you need a "pit stop", the boat can be returned to the dock at any time during your rental. Our Hot Tub Cruisin staff will assist you with a swift loading and unloading.
What happens if there's bad weather prior to, or during my rental?
(A. Your safety is our top priority If we are unable to operate the boat due to weather, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your cruise. (B. If your renal is cut short, you will only be charged for the time you use the boat, and we will work to schedule another cruise. (C. Rentals will only be cancelled due to "dangerous" weather conditions. PLEASE NOTE: A deposit is required for all reservations, and this will not be refunded if you cancel your reservation due to "non-dangerous" weather.
What if we accidentally break something on the boat?
As part of the HTC pre-cruise orientation and post-cruise check-out, you will do a "walk around" of the boat to identify any pre-existing damages. A credit card is held on file as a deposit for any damages incurred during your rental. The rental agreement identifies those damages for which the renter is liable and the associated costs.
