Highly recommended. Tour guide Destiny provided an interesting and informative walking tour of downtown Detroit. Luckily it was beautiful weather on the day. Loved the buildings and architecture.

The Detroit Sweet Treats Food Tour was a wonderful reintroduction to Detroit after living in the area as a child. My guide was Destiny, who was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the city and the sweets we tasted along the way. Delicious cronuts, handmade bon bons, a lovely coffee break, and eclairs to round things out. And everything sprinkled with tidbits of Detroit history (old and new). I highly recommend this tour, especially with Destiny as your guide.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as I went with family and I don’t personally have a sweet tooth, but ended up having the best time. Our guide Destiny helped make our experience so special. She was very personable and professional. I really enjoyed learning about the city, the history, and experiencing downtown!

The donut tour was overall a great experience! The tour guide Destiny was very informative and did a GREAT job and even held open many doors for us!

Jay was lovely and took us around the sights of Detroit, we enjoyed the many doughnuts and drinks. Jay took us on the people mover which was fun and history of Detroit.

Erik did a wonderful job and we had a great time on a rainy day. We learned a bunch about Detroit along the way to the sweet treats.

Enjoyed my Detroit sweets tour with Destiny. She’s a 3rd generation native of the city with a deep understanding and appreciation for Detroit’s history back to foundation 320 years ago. Destiny also detailed the city’s impressive comeback story and improvements to come.

Our tour with Destiny, who is a native of the city - was fun. Her knowledge and passion for the city made her the perfect guide. She provided a wealth of information regarding local sites as well as businesses and the good works that they are doing. We were lucky enough to get to ride the people mover as well as sample some delicious treats along the way- Her lunch recommendation was absolutely perfect and we found ourselves dining with the locals. She offered suggestions for further exploration in the city that was really helpful.

Destiny was a wonderful guide who helped us appreciate Detroit and its many treats!

Found out about the tour as a thoughtful birthday gift. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning with Erik. He gave us a great tour of Detroit's iconic spots and some hidden treasures, each with their own fascinating history! And of course the taste tour of many wonderful pastry shops and cafés was the cherry on top.
