The playground was super fun! It was a lot of moving around, but it was cool getting all the puzzles. Daniel was such a good host!

First time escape room experience. Didn’t know what to expect but this was an AMAZING experience and so much fun. Management here is great!!!

family had such a great time at the Escape Game at Fisherman’s Wharf. So much detail and thoughtfulness went into the design of the escape room and the puzzles to unlock the game. Bryan was our game guide and explained everything clearly and even gave us a sneak peak into other game rooms to get us excited for our next visit. This is my second game with Escape Game in two weeks and I will be on the look out for all other locations for a fun special game night for my family when we travel and when we’re home! Such a great time.

Ashley was so helpful and made the game so much fun! Check in was a breeze and she was available for all of our questions. Prison break was amazing! Highly recommend The Escape Room and especially Ashley!

Incredible escape room games. Aaron and Bryan were so friendly and really hyped up our experience. The rooms are immersive, interactive, and creative with their puzzles with good difficulty. Worlds of difference between escape rooms that are just a lot of lock and key. Became my favourite!

Have been back multiple times! So fun and immersive. Its satisfying completing the difficult challenges. Really enjoyed the atmosphere that Priscilla helped create.

Came here with a couple friends the day after my birthday for a lil celebration and mystery~ Safe to say we had a GREAT time! We overall had an awesome experience including memorable interactions with the staff (shout out Syran <3) The Heist room didn’t stand a chance against us though 🤞🏾

Elio was a fantastic host for our adventure in doing the Prison Break - Escape from Alcatraz game. We were running late but Elio made sure to accommodate us. The game itself was thoughtfully laid out and had us working separately but in teams to solve the puzzles. We were challenged and also got some great laughs. It was a wonderful experience.

Timeliners was awesome!!!! Theme was novel, tech was outstanding, and the game flowed well. Shout out to our game master Mykah. Update 3/22 - Gold Rush is a blast! Perfect for our family with multiple teenagers. The puzzles and challenges were creative and novel, with an engaging linear flow. Thank you Dani!! Escape from Alcatraz was also super fun, splitting our group into two adjacent rooms to share puzzle clues. Also immersive and just the right amount of challenge for our experienced crew. Well done! Such a wonderful experience with Dan! They were great and had amazing energy, and overall made the escape room so fun and interactive. They even drew us our favorite Pokémon (great conversation by the way).

Place was very accommodating with getting our group into a different time slot. Place was nicely decorated and the game we played was fun. Good challenging puzzles and the game master was always a good help. Thanks Owen!

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this specific escape game location for a while and wow are these rooms detailed!! I actually feel like I’m transported to another place! The puzzles are really fun and the staff is so nice! My boyfriend and I always have a great experience here! I even brought my family once! Definitely would recommend these games

Second game at this location and just as fun as the first! The puzzles were intricate and detailed, it's overall such a fun place to go. Also the workers were very enthusiastic also which added to the overall experience

Another incredible experience at another The Escape Game location. The set design for Special Ops was fantastic. The whole team was super welcoming and wonderful to chat with. I had a great time and was able to give a friend his first experience in a proper escape room (after being disappointed at another company's location in the city) If you're shopping for escape room locations in SF, ditch the list and just go here (and their downtown location). They really are top tier in set design, puzzle design, and staffing.

The Escape Game was an absolute blast! From start to finish, the experience was exciting, immersive, and incredibly well run. Huge shout-out to Alex, our game guide, and Daniel, our host — both of them brought amazing energy, enthusiasm, and were so helpful in setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. You can really tell they love what they do, and it makes all the difference. We played The Heist, and wow — the room was beautifully designed with fun, clever puzzles and truly unique clues that kept us engaged the entire time. Every puzzle made you stop and think, and nothing felt repetitive or boring. My absolute favorite was the cork key inside the wine bottle — such a creative and memorable detail! If you’re looking for an escape room that’s challenging, visually impressive, and just plain fun, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back and try another room!

We did the Alcatraz escape room and it was awesomeee. It was my first time doing an escape room and we were only two people, so it took us a bit longer, but we still made it out with 30 seconds to spare. The room was really well thought out, it was challenging without being frustrating. The hints were clear and actually helpful without ruining anything. Henri was our instructor and he was very nice, supportive, and added to the experience. Overall, a very well thought out escape room and definitely worth it
