Great Lakes Distillery

Cool little distillery in Wisconsin. The drinks are strong and fairly priced. Bartenders are cool as hell and the tour is worth it. Definitely a place to visit and have a couple.

Great place, space, service and spirits. Had some very tasty cocktails. I can’t wait to drink some of the delicious whisky I brought home.

This place rules. Delicious array of beverages, awesome space in a cool part of town. Friendly staff and patrons, and they host cool music, art, and vendor events all the time. Big shout to Brendan, Scotty, and the whole crew!

Great place. More of a beer guy but place was great. Took the tour. Everyone was super nice. Even got to see the owner who was working! Bought some spirits as well. Had a couple drinks in the taproom. Underrated food as well. Recommend

We stopped for a tour and it was awesome! The tour and tasting were great and so were the drinks! It was a nice atmosphere to just hang out with some good drinks. It was great learning about the history as well. Only negative I can say was it didn’t have a changing table in the men’s restroom. I had to change a diaper on the bathroom floor which is never fun. Maybe next time I visit they will have added one.

Great experience with a great guide. The passion to bring quality spirits to the market oozes during the tour and it was only $12 or so. Having done a lot of distillery tours in Ireland this is small scale distilling with local prices to match. Awesome! Great produce and great experience, thank you!

Booked an whiskey tasting tour and I must say it was def an experience. One of the oldest breweries in milwaukee area. Our tour guide was very informative, answered all our questions and gave us a lot of info on whiskey brewing Got to try diff whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, bourbon Def worth the money!

We did a tour while we were in town with Will and had a few drinks after. It was a lot of fun. We gave him a hard time about his hat but he took it well. Great drinks! Lots of fun! Thank yall! Best bartenders in Wisconsin and I dare say if they came to Tampa they’d be the best ones there too but we couldn’t get them to.

Great place to hang out. Good food, very friendly staff, and impressive collection of their own craft spirits.

This is one of our favorite spots. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and unique drinks plus they have a wonderful patio that is dog friendly

The tour was super fun, and Ian was a great tour guide. He was super engaging and very knowledge about the distilling process and the local history of the area. The tasting afterwards was fun and all the samples tasted delicious.

We stopped into GLD the other night and Eric took great care of us! DH had the Old Rations- perfectly bourbon and orange with just the right amount of bitters. He also had one of their frozen concoctions, which was a hurricane. I am sober and was so excited to see the extensive options for fun-NA cocktails!!! Eric had a great suggestion for me and made a tasty gimlet! GLD gets it right-atmosphere and music was fun, lots of great drink options and employees who welcome you into the family! PS: don’t sleep on Fox Den’s amazing burgers.

Visiting Chicago from United Kingdom and took the train to Milwaukee for some sightseeing booked the tour and wasnt disappointed great place for a drink really friendly booked Distillery and tasting tour amazing experience my son and I were the only 2 on the 4pm tour but Ian gave a professional tour very informative and funny then up to bar for tasting if we had not got a train to catch would have been there till closing if your ever in area definitely worth a visit Thanks Ian

A great place to grab drinks with friends. I enjoy the outdoor seating with the fires. They always have good cocktails and fun season ones. The tour is also a lot of fun and a good way to get drunk with friends.

Took the 1 pm tour. It was a great time. The tour guide knew the company, the distillation process and made it very entertaining. The tap room is well designed with a ton of choices. The drinks were very good. We had a Wisconsin old fashioned and the samples from the tour. We ended up buying a couple of bottles for the holidays. There are so many choices to buy from so it is definitely a place to try out and then return again. It was a very neat tour and tap room.

The cheese curds are absolutely amazing!! The cocktails are good too, I personally like the Wisconsin Mule the best. The tour was informative and fun, worth the money! All the bartenders have been nice and personal, and they handle large groups very well!

We had a distillery tour and Ian was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgeable, made sure to thoroughly explain each step of the distilling process and still cracked jokes along the way. Not to mention the exemplary bar and food service we had when in the tap room! We had a great experience and will be suggesting it to friends as it was a great experience.

Came across this distillery after visiting the Harley Davidson museum and what a great find. Great tasting room/bar with a small on site eatery and shop. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and keen to show off the range of awesome spirits distilled here. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.
