Was there in early September and the experience was awesome. Happened upon it while walking with a group where I drug everyone in with me and had a great time. The selection was great, very knowledgeable staff and the facility was very nice. Would 100% recommend to any agave lover

I've been on just about every type of alcohol tour you can do and this is one I'd highly recommend. They generously share their wealth of knowledge on the breadth of agave types, regions & flavors with excellent mezcals (or tequila if that's your preference) and pairings to bring out various characteristics in each one. Very educational and expansive!

This is the nicest tequila tasting place in downtown! It is close to the marina and the quality of tequila is outstanding! They have the best local Mezcal with zero additives and some of the finest people you will encounter! This will be my first stop the next time in Cabo. We went home with two bottles! Do not go to Cabo with out visiting Agave Elite.

Walked in expecting to taste a few tequila. Got a lot more out of our visit. We tried many different types of tequila, and other agave based liquors. Small palate cleansers and modifiers such as roasted crickets, very salty, fresh strawberry, roasted pineapple, a small piece of the roasted agave pink before it is fermented. Interesting and sweet flavor. Rosemary has significant knowledge on all aspects of agave production, distillation, blending, resting, and bottling. Truly one of the best experiences we had in a tasting or class. Thank you Rosemary!
Had such an awesome time. Martin and RoseMary made us feel right at home. I sampled so many artisan tequila, tried crickets and even a scorpion. Walked out with a few bottles of tequila and gifts for my family and friends.

We went to a spectacular mezcal tasting at Agave Elite! Rosemary, the passionate owner, made the experience unforgettable with her knowledge, warmth, and kindness. My husband knows a lot about mezcal, and even he learned new things from her. The rest of us loved every second—from the smoky sips to the crickets, peanuts, and corn they served alongside. This experience was truly a highlight of our Cabo trip!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience here - the owner is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but she’s also clearly deeply passionate about agave spirits. I’m a big fan of mezcal and she took us on a journey across Mexico. It was a treat tasting many different kinds of agaves, but my favorite was getting to taste the same agave from different regions - I’ve always heard about how much terroir there is in mezcal, but my experience at Agave Elite gave me a new and deeper appreciation for this aspect of the spirit. We also got to try a number of things I’ve never had before: Bocanaro, raicilla, and a mezcal gin that was super interesting - a real treat all around. The shop has a bunch of great bottles including ones unique to the shop, and I was happy to be able to take home some of my favorites from the huge variety we tried. A 10/10 experience that I highly recommend for newbies or folks with more experience - looking forward to coming back!
Upon arriving, Ignacio greeted us, and told us about the various tequila/mezcal experiences they have to offer. My partner and I decided to do the tequila and mezcal tasting. First, Ignacio talked about the process and history of tequila and mezcal and how they differ from each other. Then, we moved on to tequila tasting. We started with the tequila blanco, followed by tequila resposado, tequila anejo, and extra anejo. Afterwards, he gave us a chance to taste the mezcals. Throughout the experiences, Ignacio would explain a few details about each bottle prior to tasting the tequila. There were also a few complimentary snacks that would pair great and elevate the tequila or mezcal. We also had a chance to taste their delicious cocktails as well. Shoutout to Martin for the great cocktails. And to end it all, we took a shot of mezcal and ate a scorpion. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful and a well informative experience. I’m not a tequila person myself, but it gave me a chance to appreciate tequila and the wonderful tastes it offers. Agave elite is breaking boundaries of how tequila is more than just a party drink. The whole experience was fairly priced, and worth every bit of it. I certainly would recommend you check it out.

This place is a hidden gem. We first found the tasting on TripAdvisor but decided to walk in instead. We were greeted by Ariel and Martin and they gave the most amazing experience with tequila history and great conversation. We didn’t want to leave but had to grab a bite to eat or we would have stayed all night. We ended up buying 3 bottles of tequila. One to drink while we were visiting and 2 to bring home. After we ate we picked up the bottles we purchased and it started pouring and Ana the owner told us to stay and have a seat and made us feel like home. She even communicated with the uber to help us get into our car safely. I can not say enough things about this place. Will be back. Thank you for everything.

We went in out of curiosity and Martin delighted us with some wonderful tastings! The place is amazing and the service makes it even better. Thanks to the two guys who served us and gave us a great chat and some delicious drinks; they also have non-alcoholic options if you're with children. Highly recommend visiting this tasting room. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They let us taste various tequila. I think I've had bad tequila my whole life because they sure did introduce me to some good stuff. Not only that but their cocktails that come with a pairing.. so good! I've had a lot of cocktails lately and theirs was the best I have had in a really long time.
