Had wondeful stay! The room was beautifully decorated and very inviting. The bed was amazing soft and supportive! And it is perfectly located in the center of town, so you can walk everywhere. We look forward to staying here again.

What an ABSOLUTE GEM! Reserved the last room on a Friday night at the last minute and all I can say is, "WOW"! We arrived after their office closed and they set up a late arrival. It was super easy to find the room. To our surprise, the room was a beautiful two-story room with the bed upstairs. The furnishings are rustic surrounded with luxury linens. Every detail was perfect. A huge walk-in shower and a balcony overlooking the poolside. What was supposed to be just a simple place to stay for the night turned into the best part of the trip to Fredericksburg...plus they bring you a picnic basket in the morning with breakfast! Highly Recommend; walking distance to Main Street and we can't wait to go back!

Great place to get the whole family together! We rented out the entire property along with the sister property, Evers House, for our wedding weekend. I was a great home base for the weekend, and the perfect spot to get everyone together between wedding events. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the outdoor common areas were great! The breakfast delivery was a nice touch.

This was our first trip to Fredericksburg, and we chose to stay at the Winchester for a unique B&B rather than a typical, noisy hotel, and it did not disappoint! The accommodations were lovely, very clean, and quiet. We particularly enjoyed the morning breakfast that arrived promptly at 8am at our door in a cute little picnic basket! They have a beautiful pool area and a gorgeous stone fireplace with tables and chairs which is the perfect outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine. Located just a block from shopping, it was a great location for our stay. We would definitely recommend the Winchester Lodge for your next stay in Fredericksburg!

We have stayed at Evers House a few times in the last month due to business in Fredericksburg. It is in the best location! Just steps off main street. It's so cute, peaceful and quiet. It's a large house with a common kitchen, which would typically scare me to read, but it's very private. Each room has a name plate and a keypad with code. The kitchen is adorable. We stayed in The Seventh Heaven and Bliss Suites. The Seventh Heaven is huge and has great french doors to the outside. The bathtub is "heavenly". Bliss is great too. We were just in and out that time so we got something smaller. Breakfast is delivered to your door at 8am. The first time we were there it was oatmeal and fruit, an egg, ham and cheese sandwich, a muffin and orange juice. The second time was a quiche with hollandaise sauce, yogurt and berries, a pastry and orange juice. Very good! The only thing that I didn't love is the coffee but that's just my preference. They have a Keurig in the room and in the kitchen. It's very convenient but they only have the little creamers that sit out. I am not a fan. I love real half and half. 1st world problem! :-) The check in process is easy. On the day you check in (early afternoon) they send you the code to the front and back doors and then to your suite. There is not any staff on property. We didn't mind a bit. We will definitely be staying there again and I'd love to try their sister property, The Winchester Lodge. Thanks Evers for two great stays!

I booked a room for 3 adults for one night and we all immediately wished we were staying for a longer time! Our room (15) was absolutely perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the 3 of us. I slept on the pill out sofa bed which was super easy to set up and absolutely comfortable! It had a good mattress and cozy sheets and light blanket. The shower was our favorite part! Amazing! The scents of the toiletries was so good. It’s one block from main street so it would be the perfect location if you wanted to spend the day walking the shops. You can come back and enjoy the pool and wine. I can’t wait to have a reason to come back.

A peaceful and memorable stay! My mom and I stayed in Room 7 for our mother-daughter vacation, and truly enjoyed our time here. It was just far enough off the main street, so it was calm and quiet, but close enough that we could walk for a few minutes to get to all of the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, and we especially loved sitting out on the covered porch, enjoying the breeze and cooler weather thanks to the cloud cover. One evening, we even watched a movie by the pool, where we sat on the sun shelf and enjoyed the evening breeze (yet again). The staff was kind, welcoming, and clearly cared that we were enjoying our stay. So many thoughtful personal touches made the experience feel extra special and well beyond what we would have received at a typical hotel. And the shower deserves an extra shoutout—excellent water pressure and very relaxing after a full day. Also, the bed was heavenly and we are definitely going to be upgrading our beds at our houses (lol). We would absolutely stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The location is perfect to Main Street without having the noise of Main. The rooms were amazing and so comfortable! Price could not be beat for all that is included. We loved our breakfast at the door each morning and loved that they had wine in the room if you want to have any. We will be back!!

My husband and I stayed at the Winchester Lodge for two nights, along with 3 other couples. We loved the outdoor seating and the pool was beautiful. The location was a perfect location to the museum, restaurants, and shopping, but quiet enough where it was peaceful at night. Our bed was very comfortable—lots of bedding and pillows which I always appreciate. Our ac the first night wasn’t working the best, and Stephanie was so kind and accommodating and allowed us to switch rooms. Our second room was just as comfortable and the ac worked great! I would highly recommend the Winchester Lodge for a couples getaway! We were all so impressed!

We loved how clean, cozy & intimate the room was. Everything we needed was in our room , a Keurig, water, coffee cups, coffee creamer, iron, small fridge and a microwave . Breakfast every morning was perfect . Location is 1/2 a block from Maine, so everything is walking distance. We are definitely staying here again ! Highly recommend♥️

This place has been great so far. We stayed here a few days and the rooms, service and location excellent. The service desk super attentive, easy to contact at anytime and very helpful with suggestions on what to do in town. This place is located in the middle of the Downtown so you can just walk everywhere. It is a one minute walk to the Pacific war museum, Nimitz museum, churches, galleries, bars, restaurants, shops, so many things to see here. The rooms were fantastic and sparkling clean. They were comfortable, the beds supportive without been too hard, and the bathroom massive. The check in after hours is done next at the lodge next door. The breakfast is great and dropped to your door by 8am. Overall a great experience and highly recommend this location.

The location was very convenient but lacks a direct sidewalk if you want to go to Main Street. Definitely will come here again!

Great location, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was great, and was delivered in a charming basket outside your door. My only complaint would be that they advertise a pool that is actually at their sister property (which they do disclose). However, it would be nice if the pool were easier to access rather than having to walk out on the street, and through a driveway in my bathing suit. Other than that, I loved my stay!

Clean, comfortable and super convenient as you can walk the town and not have to deal with parking downtown. Parking here could be a challenge if it's busy, there are not enough spots if too many people drive more that 1 vehicle per unit, which we did see. There is some noise bleed from adjacent units, but not more than a hotel. Daily breakfast delivery is a nice touch.

I wish we had photos to share.. we stayed in room 16 and it was amazing. Loft style accommodations with a great jacuzzi tub, waterfall shower head, and a pull out sofa for the bottom floor. King sized bed for the upstairs with a balcony and plenty of room. The one thing that impressed us the most was the breakfast. This wasn’t your typical continental breakfast of liquid eggs and pastries, but a legit breakfast burrito (up to Tex-mex standards), grapes, OJ, and a pastry. Lastly, this is within walking distance to whatever you want to do downtown. We loved this place. Would 10/10 recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at The Winchester Lodge so much! The property couldn't be more convenient for visiting the Museum of the Pacific. We loved the somewhat rustic yet modernized rooms, especially the huge shower. The breakfast served to our room each day was a fantastic touch. And the in-rooom gas fireplace was great. We were even able to store our bicycles on the private patio in our upstairs suite (Suite 8). We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Fredericksburg.

Great location one block off Main Street, everything is walking distance. We had a couple of questions prior to our arrival and the lady we spoke to was great and was able to reassure us of our concerns. Our suite (15) was quaint and beautiful, perfect for a couples getaway! We enjoyed the jacuzzi (heads up to those with mobility issues, there is a very big step to get in and out). We stayed in the Tuscan room which had an exterior entrance. We loved the room, the property, and the location. The room was clean and very nicely furnished. It's 1 block off the main street with lots of retail and restaurants within walking distance. And we loved the morning breakfast that arrived in a picnic basket! My husband and I stayed in Suite 7. This is such a quaint hotel that had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!!! Our suite had a loft upstairs for just the bed and a small balcony. It was a close walk to Main Street but far enough to have a quiet night. My wife and I stayed at the Winchester Lodge for two nights, staying in suite one. The lodge's location is incredibly convenient to the main street of Fredericksburg. It's also only a 15 minute drive to a large number of the wineries just outside of Fredericksburg. Our suite was fantastic, with the living area on the main level and the bedroom and private bathroom on the second level. The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was a nice treat. The variety and taste of the breakfast basket each morning was a great way to start each day. The staff was incredibly friendly both at check in and check out. We felt quite at home. We'll definitely consider staying here again, if we're in Fredericksburg again.
