Really fun little place. It’s UPSTAIRS in this all new development on the outskirts of old Truckee. Never been axe throwing, and the staff were very patient and showed us the ropes. They do serve beers and chips etc but that’s about it. Worth a visit!

Dropped in with my wife and kid. I’ve golfed my whole life but never on a sim. Had a blast. Didn’t even know it was here because of the new build. Owners are super friendly and another great thing to do with the fam when you have to be inside. Support these entrepreneurs!

Love this place! So fun and approachable. We just did the axe throwing, didn’t try golf this time. If you get a bullseye you get on the wall which is a fun perk too. Highly recommend!

My family and I did both golf and axe throwing and could not recommend this more highly. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, and after a few coaching tips we all got bullseyes! Pricing is great. We will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! Super fun place to spend an afternoon with your friends. My golf swing got so much better after playing here a few times. Tons of fun games for all ages. We had our company holiday happy hour for Shear Force Engineering at Alpenswing and had a blast! Super fun vibe, friendly staff, and a great setup for groups. Everyone had a great time with both the golf simulator and axe throwing. They even let us bring in our own charcuterie board, which paired nicely with a bucket of beer! Awesome new spot in Truckee—highly recommend.

We had an incredible time at Alpenswing! The golf simulators are top-notch—perfect for both experienced golfers and beginners—and the axe throwing was a blast and surprisingly easy to learn thanks to the friendly, knowledgeable staff. This is hands down one of the best spots for group outings, team building events, birthday parties, or a fun night out. The space is clean, well organized, and has a great atmosphere. Staff members were welcoming, explained everything clearly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had fun.

Alpenswing is a fantastic new virtual golf and axe throwing business in Truckee. The atmosphere is modern, welcoming, and perfectly designed for a fun night out with friends, family, or coworkers. The Trackman simulators were immersive and very responsive. We didn’t do the axe throwing, but the group who did looked to be having a blast! It was very well run, just like their sister company Alpenthrow! Pricing was very fair for the experience, especially considering the quality, technology, and overall vibe. If you’re looking for indoor activities in Truckee, a unique group outing, or something different to do after skiing or hiking, Alpenswing is the place to go! Highly recommend for both locals and visitors! Truckee has needed a spot like this!

AlpenSwing in Truckee is such an awesome spot and a perfect place for a fun night out. I went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday, and we had an absolute blast. The golf simulator and axe throwing are a great mix and make for an entertaining experience whether you’re competitive or just there to have fun. The owners are super cool, welcoming, and clearly care about creating a great vibe. There’s a small but solid selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic canned beverages, which is a nice touch. It’s an ideal place for birthdays, group outings, or something different to do in Truckee. Good to know for first-timers: there’s a staircase and an elevator on the west end of the complex, as well as a central staircase, depending on where you park—easy access either way. If you’re looking for fun things to do in Truckee, indoor activities, or a unique group experience, AlpenSwing is a must-visit. Five stars all the way.
