This was an excellent first experience in Chinatown.
Since it was my first time visiting, I went in with an open mind. I wanted to experience something authentic, enjoy good food, and hopefully leave with a positive impression. My Canh definitely delivered.
First impressions matter, and My Canh made a great one. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and I didn’t have to wait to be seated. The service was attentive without feeling overbearing, which I really appreciated.
I have a culinary background, so I tend to pay close attention to the details—presentation, preparation, flavor, portion size, and, of course, value. I ordered the shrimp egg rolls and chicken wings because I was looking for something a little lighter while still wanting an authentic experience.
Both dishes were cooked and served perfectly. The shrimp egg rolls had a great texture and flavor, and the chicken wings were flavorful and satisfying without being overly heavy. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully done.
What really stood out to me was the balance between quality and price. The food was exactly what I was looking for, the portions were appropriate, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality and location.
Overall, My Canh gave me the kind of experience I was hoping for on my first visit to Chinatown: clean restaurant, friendly staff, authentic and flavorful food, good portions, and fair prices.
I walked in hoping for a good experience, and I walked out impressed. I would definitely come back and explore more of the menu on my next visit.
