The sculpting class was super fun and the coffee was fantastic! I did the Halloween candy bowl class and the instructor, Nadia, was a pro and super helpful with new techniques.

So I went to Pip coffee and clay for a plant pot making class and I wanted to share my experience with everyone. What a great time! It was a lot of fun. Our instructor Faith was an absolute pleasure to work with, she has the best personality. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She made the class very fun. It was a small group, about 7 or 8 of us so it was a little more intimate, very fun getting to know some of the other people and seeing their creativity. A saw a couple other rooms where they had clay throwing classes going on. Ours was more along the lines of working with either balls or slabs of clay. Very fun. I’m definitely going back. I love to create, anything to do with art. I’ve been a bit bored at home so I thought I would get out there and do something fun for a couple hours. I would definitely recommend Pip

I joined a team build here with our management team and it was so much fun! Minz was such a great teacher and handled our big group soooooo well!! He was super helpful with getting everyone on the same page and giving tips and tricks when needed. The girl up front was also super helpful when giving suggestions for picking out coffee! Definitely come here if you want something fun to beat the heat !

Took one of their pottery classes and had an amazing time as a complete beginner. Well worth the class cost. Their drinks are tasty and well crafted. They have crafts for sale around the cafe space, which is welcoming and bright. I'm looking forward to returning in a few weeks to pick up my finished piece from class and trying some new snacks.

Went with a friend for a beginner wheel throw class and had such a great time! Steve was an excellent instructor and helped out people as needed in class as well, which was perfect since I put a hole through the bottom of my matcha bowl lol. Definitely a fun and relaxing way to spend a few hours!

This place is so awesome! We've taken two of the clay workshops so far, and had such a fun experience both times. I'm a beginner with ceramics, and the teachers were so patient and informative, helping me to craft my projects in the time allotted. They have delicious pastries, coffees, and even wine you can bring to the classes too! Owned and operated by a wonderful family, this spot fills a much needed niche for those seeking a comfortable spot to explore art with delicious coffee in hand.

Pip Coffee & Clay in Phoenix is such a fun concept and a refreshing change from the typical coffee shop. We stopped in for coffee and stayed to paint pottery, which made the visit feel like an experience instead of just a quick stop. The drinks were well made, the café was clean, and the creative atmosphere made it easy to relax. There were plenty of pottery options for all skill levels, and the staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Whether you’re looking for a unique date idea, somewhere to catch up with friends, or just want great coffee in a creative space, this spot is absolutely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Phoenix.

Accidentally discovered this place on a bicycle ride down the Grand Canal. Vbes, coffee, creativity. Mad decent espresso. The pour wasn't rushed and the flavor was good

It was a good class but I got rather frustrated. My skin is very thin because I'm older and the wheel was rough on my hand. I got my clay where I wanted it and then ruined it 3 different times. LOL!! But the teacher was very helpful and attentive. I did leave with a puece that I finished foe tgem to glaze. I pucked it up the other day and will find some use for it. I do recommend the class to all!

I booked a pottery class for two and as a first timer, the experience exceeded my expectations. Steve was the best instructor I had never done this before and I felt the instructions were clear and I felt comfortable with the process and Steve was kind enough to help everyone when needed in a very balanced way. The staff was also kind I got there a little late and they didn’t make us feel bad and made sure we had a chance to order coffee and they were super helpful. Steve even helped put together a proposal and it was just the best experience.

I've taken PIP's beginning wheel throwing class three times, and it's so much fun! The teachers explain and demonstrate everything super clearly and then wander around answering questions and helping people during the class. Absolutely delightful and joyous, especially if you go in with no expectations 😁 not to mention, the satisfaction of making something with one's hands when so many are pushing AI "art" that requires no struggle and therefore provides no growth. Go play with clay! Go make something!

Very fun. Michelle was very helpful and patient. They let us try over and over again and gave good instruction to help us have some success.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. Not only can I come here and be creative with clay but I can eat their PB&J bagel, get messy & tap into my inner child. The street there is super busy & there isn’t much parking in the lot, so if you are going for a class come early so you can find parking there or elsewhere if needed. Definitely recommend & it’s on my recommendation list I give to all my friends coming into town! ⭐️

Great date idea! Tons of fun, good instruction, excellent finished product.

Had such a great time!! Our teacher was excellent - although she made it look much easier than it was. Haha she was there to help when we got off track or a little heavy handed - and always encouraging and supportive. Half the fun was making mistakes and seeing what we could make out of it, anyway! Sad to learn Tempe won't be hosting clay classes anymore and feel lucky to have made it to the last one! Will definitely check out the sewing classes and other studios for more clay-ventures. What a blast!

Went to a pottery class this weekend and had a really fun time. Rebecca was an incredible teacher and I was a uniquely fun experience throwing clay using a pottery wheel. I can tell you, I thought I would be good at this, but the pottery wheel was quick to humble me. If you want to do something new and interesting, this is it. Enjoy the moment!

This was a super fun experience and I would highly recommend going to this location for an evening out or even to join weekly classes. The teachers were very informative and helpful and it was super fun to be able to make something and bring it home.
