Outstanding wine selections. Solid knowledge of wine varietals and blends. Friendly service in the garden for tastings and grilled food. Grows their own garden produce. Beautiful location with kayaks available on the Oak Creek or Verde River. Great time had by all.
We did the sunset, horseback riding with Brendan he was a formative. He was amazing. He was funny. He made sure we OK. We had a good time. He told us the history of everything and we got to see a beautiful sunset. Said it was such a great time. Will definitely go again.
It's a beautiful location by Oak Creek and Verde River. Great wine and great food menu. Lots to do there- jeep rides, horseback rides, and kayaking. They have live music on weekends by their beautiful outside patio area. Also a good place for your wedding.
We did the sunset horseback tour with horseback wine country, and it was a gorgeous ride with a stunning view at the top. Our guides, Gary and Eduardo, were a joy to chat with and so fun. It was definitely a highlight for our visit!
Beautiful winery, I've never been, the staff were nice and inviting, my Girlfriend tasted various wines, and had a hard time which one was the best, because they were so good, I had a hot cup cinnamon hot chocolate, delicious, we decided to join the membership, it has a lots of discounts and benefits, thank you Ashley and Laurie you made us feel like very close friends 🧡 we can't wait to come back again, please visit them you won't be disappointed. Thanks again.
We did a sunset horseback riding tour and it was phenomenal! Our guide Kevin was such a delight and for half of our group riding a horse for the first time made us feel so comfortable. Truly so much fun, we will be back!!

We spent this last week in Sedona for my sisters bachelorette weekend. We headed to Alcantara winery and had the nicest afternoon. From Cliff our bus driver to Kerry and the staff we felt so welcomed. We took our flights and sat outside amongst the grapes while a musician sang off in the distance. Delicious selection of wines. Cliff even gave us a hayride tour around the property and we met the vintner who took time to chat with us. ASK for Cliff as your driver he is fantastic…just be cool and kind! ✌️🍇
Beautiful vineyard, perfect to visit when the weather is a little cooler to enjoy their outside area.
This is our 2nd time visiting Alcantera and we are so happy we stopped again. The atmosphere is stunning, the wine is fantastic and the food is wonderful. Then the staff here and the grounds are superb! What a great spot to visit!
A truly wonderful experience, the staff is exceptional Ron provided our family with his extensive insight on the grapes he and his colleagues cultivate. They provide a level of comfort that one rarely receive from a business it as if you went to your second cousin home for the first time they don’t know you well but treat you like family.

Had a wonderful tasting experience and absolutely delicious meal here! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable - and we learned that we like Sauvignon Blanc / Pinot Grigio blends. If we lived locally we would’ve left with many bottles of wine! 🤣 If you have a little more time to spare check out the kayak experience on the Verde river through Verde Adventures. We had a blast!
We had an amazing time doing the river and wine tour for a girls weekend. The guides were great the river was fun and relaxing and the ambiance at the winery was great. Worth the trip!
This was my first ever visit. If you live in the Valley and drive up to Sedona or Prescott much, this place is a great little stop in. OR if you enjoy kayaking or river tubing then visit Verde River Adventure Trips. You can kyak or tube down the river and then have a glass of wine from there! The adventure tubing and kayaking is operated on the vineyard property. It was a great time. The Vineyard is small but has lots of outdoor seating with an outdoor bar. The inside area is smaller. The staff who work there are very friendly and professional. They have small plates for food yo pair with wines, but nothing hearty. It was great experience and I'll be back again in the future.
Here is a great opportunity to enjoy a beautiful setting, have some great bites to eat and try refreshing local wines. In addition there is outstanding music on weekends on their outside grassy venue. If you enjoy yoga, paddleboarding or horseback riding they offer these as well. A visit will proved an amazing unforgettable time.

My best friend and I got the 9am horse back riding package. It was great with the heat because it was the beginning of the day! We both wear jeans, tennis shoes, a tank or short sleeve shirt, sunscreen is a must, and a normal bottle of water. Tomas was our guide and was truly amazing! I do equestrian riding regularly where I live in Oklahoma and my friend is an experienced rider as well. The ride was a little longer than an hour but we explored new areas, got to walk through the river. And he allowed us to open up and really gallop on the horses. It was such a fun and unique experience! We both would highly recommend this for anyone in the area looking for adventure ☺️
Beautiful scenery and space for relaxing and tasting. A lot of options for white and red wine, and food - we tried several options and all were good! We visited in conjunction with a kayak tour down the river and wine tasting after (water to wine tours) and got a $20 per person credit.
Not only was the wines fantastic this vineyard has the most incredible scenery in the Verde Valley. The location allows you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. If your feeling a sense of adventure I highly recommend the Water to Wine tour where your arrive at the vineyard and wine tasting room by floating down the Verde River in inflatable kayaks. This was a world class wine tasting adventure for sure.
Delicious flat bread style pizza & brushetta! Wine was amazing and reasonably priced. Recommend the incredible moscato (just under $30/ bottle pre-tax). Did this as part of the river & wine tour (combo includes the self guided Verde Adventure kayak tour & comes with $20/ person voucher at the winery).
