We did the speakeasy cocktail class with Ian. It was great! The cocktails and snacks were delicious. We started in the front of the store where we were served a mojito flavor of our choice (coconut was delish). After that we were led through a secret entrance to the speakeasy style bar in the back. Ian was super knowledgeable and personalized the class to his customers. We learned a lot about the spirits and history. Would definitely recommend doing this cocktail class!
We went to mint to be mojito to take a mixology class in the connected speakeasy, and it was a FANTASTIC experience! The food, particularly the empanadas and the garlic cilantro sauce was incredible, and our teacher Ian was very knowledgeable and funny! We had a great time eating, making drinks, and laughing with friends.
I did their mojito class with some friends. It was amazing!!!! Ian was awesome!!! It was entertaining and educational. We all walked away with new mixology skills and the mojitos we great. Also had a nice rum history lesson.
The mojito-making class was a blast! Ian was hilarious, super personable, and really knew their stuff. The speakeasy vibe made it feel extra special, and the tacos they served were delicious. Great drinks, great laughs, and a really cool atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something unique and memorable in Savannah!

“Well, I’ve been making mojitos wrong”. Is the text I sent to my wife that day. Signed up for a craft mojito and taco tutorial class this past weekend. Ian met my group in the main room, a cozy bar and eatery. We had a selection of house mojitos before moving on the next portion. I’ll speak easy on this next part as there is a trick to experience the full scope ‘mint to be mojito’ has to offer. Ian filled the rest of our time with an engaging tutorial on how to truly craft a classic mojito. Best one I’ve ever had. I may have been making them wrong before, but thanks to Ian, I’ll never make them wrong again.
Ian's cocktail class was fabulous. I would highly recommend taking it. We learned something new

We have been here several times for meals, drinks and networking events. Our most recent visit was for a Mojito Making Class in the Speakeasy which was led by Ian who is master bartender and a pretty good entertainer as well.

We signed up for a cocktail class that was held here. The class was in a very cool speakeasy style bar in the back. Ian Phillips was the instructor and he is an awesome guy and super knowledgeable and made the calls hands on, educational, and a lot of fun. Totally worth doing this class. We had some appetizers too and the empanadas were excellent.
