the rail yard is an amazing space that is very tastefully decorated & the staff & owner are unbelievably thoughtful & kind. the crowd is mellow, friendly & welcoming. I can not say enough about how happy I am with to have found such a lovely local gem that has its standards & priorities in line. I will definitely keep coming back & can't wait to book one of their rooms for when friends visit! Just so damn tastefully decorated & thought out. You can tell they put a lot of pride into it!

This place is probably my new favorite place. The vibe is unmatched, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is fantastic. People are beyond respectful and it is a safe place for all type of humans, which I truly appreciate. Depending on the day it is BYOB, and you can even bring your own food, just make sure to the area clean. Love this place!

This is an unreal venue. The design, upkeep and amenities are absolutely top tier. I’ve been to many events, stayed in the rooms and swam in the pool and have only had the best possible experience each and every time. I hope to rent out the entire space at some point. The possibilities are endless and the vibes are very, very good

This was truly an outstanding experience. From the moment I got started, everything felt seamless and well-organized. The team was incredibly responsive, helpful, and clearly committed to providing excellent service. I appreciated how easy everything was to navigate, and how quickly any questions I had were addressed. It made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and will definitely be coming back again in the future. Highly recommended!

This was a very nice place and the staff is awesome. The pool and hot tub area is very warm and inviting and well cared for. The room was very clean, stylish and comfortable. The only complaint is that the rooms have no sound proofing and our neighbor's good time caused us to not be able to sleep at all, all night. We did utilize the sound machine the ear plugs and it still wasn't enough. Lol They also kinda hogged the community bathroom. We knew there was a community bathroom, but wasn't expecting this issue. If you're actually wanting to sleep there, might plan better.

Probably the best room (The Locomotive Room) I’ve stayed in amongst any hotel or B&B in 40 years. My previous favourite was the nHow in Berlin. I was here for work earlier this week staying at the Hilton Riverside, which was no slouch. Taking some personal time for a few days, I moved to The Railyard for three nights. Best decision. I would come back to New Orleans just to stay here, and I will. This is the queer Mecca for places to stay. It is definitely off the tourist beaten path. But a $12 Uber will get you to the tourist areas, and once you get your fix, you can feel like a local wandering ‘round to Bywater Bakery for a breakfast croissant and coffee, then head back to The Railyard to eat by the poolside, slap some sunscreen on, and chill. Shake off the work stress. It’s called The Railyard for a reason - a couple of trains will roll by and let the horns go, but not a lot of train traffic. The rooster across the way will wake you in the morning but in a way to put a smile on your face. The staff are fabulous…you will want for nothing. Everything is meticulously clean, so if you’re picky (like me), no worries. Shared spaces include a clothing optional outdoor pool and hot tub; a quiet reading room, a kitchen and living room that makes you feel like you’re home. We drove all day to NOLA and were beyond excited to stay at the Railyard. The hosts were communicative, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed or could want. I love MCM, trains, and supporting our community. I never wanted to leave! The teeeniest detail, I’m a princess and the bed was a wee bit hard. Nevertheless, we will be back as soon as possible! Miss yall already!

When it opened to the public last summer, I had the good fortune to attend The Railyard's inaugural cocktail party, and since then I've visited for a Chewbaccus fundraiser, partied there at a friend's 40th Bday celebration, relaxed a few day passes, and this weekend past, I stayed in one of their B&B rooms for a night. If you are considering utilizing this space in any capacity, you will not be dispointed. The more i visit The Railyard, the more I appreciate what Oslo and Cyrus have envisioned and built, how gracious, smooth, and accommodating Ryan is managing it, and all the attention to detail and love all of the staff puts into it. The place is really an asset to the Bywater and to the city. It's an inclusive little oasis of tranquility, relaxation, and good vibes in a chaotic world intent on monetizing our attention spans and promoting divisiveness between us. It's a refreshing dip, a hottub soak, and meditation or book reading to recharge your spirit. It feels like a retreat rather than a bar, which really sets it apart from other pools in the area. If you appreciate good vibes, check this place out and TIP the staff!

Ylva(Events Coordinator) was a dream to work with. Not just to secure The Railyard as a location but to making the obstacles of catering and bartender disappear. It is a beautiful space with laid back wonderful vibes. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this treasure.

Stayed a week, great place for a get away. several bars within walking distance, French Quarter is also walk-able or a short 3 min drive. Great decor, super clean room, heated pool and TRAINS! Lovely place to stay with awesome hosts!

⭐️THIS PLACE IS HEAVEN⭐️ It was our last day in New Orleans and we wanted to spend it in the sun. My boyfriend and I decided to go to this place because our friend told us about it , not only that it was our most favourite place ever , the staff were the most sweetest people we’ve ever met. This place is a safe haven for the LGBTQIA+. They showed us the importance of sticking together as a community and made us feel just at home. Seeing the people around us brought us some type of warm comfort and pure happiness. This place is truthfully a Gem and isn’t something to miss out on. We’ve tried other pool areas but this one was hands down the most beautiful , accepting and peaceful one that we’ve ever been to. We celebrated my partner’s birthday for a relaxing, fun filled, three nights at the Railyard Nola. The owners are so accommodating and resourceful. It has become my favorite place to stay-cation at! I love the decor, inside and out, the art, the claw foot tub, and the hot tub especially. Rates are beyond reasonable for such a wonderful stay. We are looking forward to our next stay there! Thank you for bringing such a sultry retro vibe to Nola.

Had a Staycation here when my friends were in town. The rooms are thoughtful and nice. The pool is perfect with several comfy and cute places to hang pit. Also, HOT TUB. Love the folks running this place… It’s also a hop, skip and jump from Bacchanal. Yess yess Yesssss.

Stunning getaway in the heart of New Orleans! Almost doesn’t seem real, it’s so picturesque! Lovely hosts. Really couldn’t hope for more!
