Question 1

Will I need a valid ID to book this home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-
in. We collect this data through our partner, Truvi.

Is there any protocol that I need to follow when I book this home?

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay.
By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

The HOUSE RULES, for the House located at  HOME'S LOCATION, as outlined below, apply to the Booking Party (name on the reservation) and anyone else staying at the home (Guests) and/or visiting the home (GUESTS) with pre-approval from host/co-hosts. By signing the HOUSE RULES, the Booking Party is acknowledging full awareness of them and compliance with them.

Furthermore the GUESTS and any Friends of Guests visiting the home shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Hosts and the Co-Hosts against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss.

Guests expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Hosts and Co-Hosts may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Guests, and that Guests should purchase their own insurance for Themselves and Their Guests if such coverage is desired.

The Booking Party (Guest) also agrees that by signing, ALL guests included in the reservation/booking as well as any/all visitors to the home during the booking period, have full knowledge of the HOUSE RULES and agree to be bound by them while on property.

When you book your stay with us, every stay gives back. In partnership with Kind Traveler, your stay results in a $1 per night donation to support Wolf Connection. Wolf Connection’s mission is to transform lives through reciprocal relationships between wolves and humans. Through our community impact program, every $1 you contribute will go directly to supporting Wolf Connection. Additionally, Nonpareil Stays will match every $1 donated to the cause. You’ll see a line item for “Community Impact Program” on your folio.

If booking via Nonpareil Stays or Booking.com, guests are required to pay a Security Deposit at time of booking. This is a REFUNDABLE deposit and will be returned to the method of payment within 7 days of guest departure provided there are NO damages.

House Rules must be signed at least 24 hours before the arrival/check-in date and a separate agreement for 30+ stays will be sent via DocuSign for signature:

ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE:
Check-In time is 3:00 PM unless otherwise discussed and Check-Out is at 11 AM on your departure date.

SMART LOCK INFO:
The Pedestrian Gate is a Yale lock. To unlock, press the Yale logo,  then code 2224, then the ✅

DRIVEWAY GATE:
The panel (larger) is  located on the left side of the fence as you face the pedestrian gate. Press 2224#

FRONT DOOR ENTRY:
Entry is through the door to the office, on your left as you face the front door. It i also a Yale lock. To unlock, press the Yale logo,  then code (issued at booking), then the ✅

PARKING:
There is room for two-three cars to park in the driveway.

PARKING PASS:
In the office in the left desk drawer , there is a parking pass , if needed. Feel free to use, but please be sure it is returned. Lost parking passes will be billed to the guest and the cost is $75 to replace

HOUSE RULES:
·   The neighbors and neighborhood are quiet and respectful and are our friends
·   No parties, this is not a party house
·   No music or noise outside after 10 PM
·  You MUST get approval from co-hosts prior to any small gathering and only CONFIRMED GUESTS on the Booking may stay overnight.
·   If there are complaints of loud parties, gatherings or disturbances to the neighbors/neighborhood guests will be asked to vacate the home immediately and no refund will be issued
·   This is a multi-level home so please use caution on the stairs

SAFETY RULES FOR THE POOL/SPA: 
THE POOL IS SHALLOW! So, do not enter headfirst (absolutely no diving).
-No children may go in or near the pool unless CLOSELY supervised.
-No food or drinks in the pool
Turn on the AQUALINK pool via the iPad - located on the counter in the Media area.

The pool is set to 86 degrees and the spa is set to 104 degrees and they cannot heat simultaneously. We ask guests to be mindful of keeping the heat OFF when not in use out of respect for our homeowners as well as it will deplete the spa if left running continuously. We appreciate your cooperation.

A/C & HEAT:
There are 2 Nest thermostats for each level of the home. One is located in the upstairs hallway between Primary bedroom & Living room and one is located in the downstairs hallway across from the bathroom.
**Please do not set thermostats below 68 degrees so the A/C unit doesn’t freeze over**

GARDENER & TRASH PICKUP/INFO:
The trash bins need to go out to the curb on Wednesday evenings. All garbage needs to be taken out before check-out. The black can is for garbage, the blue for recycling and the green is for gardening use. Thank you for cleaning up after yourselves. Trash pick-up for outdoor garbage cans is on Thursdays.
The Gardener comes once a week as does the Pool Person.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:
All Guests see that the home has a pool and spa. Guests understand that they will need to exercise caution to use any of the above facilities/amenities.

By signing, the Booking Party and Guests agree that they are willingly using the pool and spa and will adhere to all rules as outlined in the House Rules manual, located in the Digital Guidebook and on platform.

If the Booking Party and Guests end up experiencing personal injury as a result of use, they agree that they will not hold the Homeowners of the home/co-hosts liable for those injuries.

Accordingly, the booking party & guests expressly waive any and all liability that the Homeowners/co-hosts might incur as a result of any personal injuries they might experience because of using these facilities/amenities.

The Booking Party and Guests hereby waive their rights to seek liability for any injuries arising from the use of the pool or spa located at HOME LOCATION from the Homeowners as well as their past, present and future heirs, attorneys, agents, representatives, employees, managers, successors-in-interest and assigns.

The Booking Party and Guests make this agreement willingly, and understand that they can easily not use these facilities/amenities.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please keep in mind that our Cancellation policy is MODERATE, which means you are entitled to a full refund if you cancel AT LEAST five days before your scheduled arrival.

If anything happens or goes amiss, please let us know asap so we can remedy the situation immediately. Thanks for treating this private home with respect and care.

Do I need to submit names of the other people on the reservation?

Yes, all quests who are staying at the home overnight must submit their names to be included on the reservation.
They must also agree to be bound by the rental terms and conditions.

What time can I arrive?

How do I get in?

Does this home have noise restrictions?

Enjoy all the interior and outdoor spaces but please keep noise levels low between 10 PM and 8 AM to respect our neighbors. Thanks!

Is there a smoking policy?

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the house and anywhere on premises.

What's the policy if I forget something at the house after I've checked out?

Any personal items left on premises post-checkout by guests will be subject to a $50 convenience fee for returning (via USPS, UPS and/or Fed-x)

Are there any services available to us during our stay?

Nonpareil Stays is a full service concierge team. You will receive a welcome package upon arrival at the home and we are ready to assist with all of your requests e.g. chef service, masseuse, yoga instructor, car rental, just to name a few. Should you have any needs, please reach out directly to the co-hosts, Deanna and Lisa of Nonpareil Stays.

Please solicit permission prior to acquiring services that would be executed on the property. These require advance notice, are independent of the booking itself,  and as such, are billed separately to the guest as an added cost.

Is there a guidebook or house manual for the home?

Yes, there is a Digital Guidebook for the home that includes the House Manual with  information on all the house's systems along with neighborhood info, restaurant recommendations, activities and more. The link will be sent once the booking is confirmed.

Question 12

Is there any part of the house off-limits?

Accepted Answer

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house, including the private backyard and all its amenities, with the exception of garage and locked owner closets.

How do we heat the Pool and/or Hot Tub?

IMPORTANT OPERATING INFO IS LOCATED IN THE DIGITAL GUIDEBOOK. Here's a brief recap:

POOL and SPA:

The pool and spa are available for our guests and can be used at your own risk. Children must be monitored by an adult at all times. NO DIVING ALLOWED. ***NOTE: The patio/deck can be VERY slippery with wet feet***

Pool Cover: The control panel to open or close the pool cover is accessed via the pool deck to the left of the spa, behind the fenced area. 
POOL COVER MUST BE CLOSED WHEN NOT IN USE OR AT END OF DAY - OVERNIGHT.

Please note: YOU CANNOT HEAT POOL & SPA SIMULTANEOUSLY. Only 1 area can be heated at a time.

The Pool/Spa can be turned on by the iPad mini which is on the counter bar area in the Media Room downstairs.
