Located on the first floor, The Royale Room is a sleek cocktail bar, offering a sharable menu of bites and the best martinis in town! This is the ideal place to get the night started and to finish the evening with a night cap! Also located on the lobby level, Fifth Street Diner is open daily for breakfast and lunch. Boasting a classic Americana diner vibe, Fifth Street Diner features diner classics like eggs benedict, along side creative twists on breakfast classics, like the Duck Confit and Waffles.

On the fourth floor you'll find Arriba Abajo Rooftop Cantina - a paradise nestled into the stunning Austin skyline. You'll find delightful margaritas and bites inspired by the diverse flavors of Mexico.

What are the different room types?

Thompson Austin offers several different room types. Standard room offerings include king rooms or queen rooms.

We offer several suite types as well to fit the needs of different groups. Different suites can be found on the Thompson Austin website. The only suite that offers two bedrooms is the Thompson suite.

If you're looking for a more enhanced stay, with rooms featuring a full kitchen and laundry, as well as a living room and multiple bedrooms, please explore our Upper Stories Residences. These can be found on the Thompson Austin website. The Upper Stories offers additional enhancements and offerings, including fridge stocking, transportation, and in-room massage services (for additional costs).

Is there a pool and are cabanas and daybed available for rent?

All hotel guests receive complimentary access to the pool with their hotel keycard. The pool offers food and beverage service daily, serviced by Arriba Abajo!
