What's in the glass
The drink program here is more considered than you'd expect. The cocktail menu can be made entirely non-alcoholic using Ritual zero proof spirits and Monin syrups, so your NA guests aren't stuck with juice. There's also NA beer and prosecco. If you're going alcoholic, start with a flight of Potion Shooters, which comes with a free shooter and a full Red Bull. The vibe is elevated without being precious, low lighting for the cocktail atmosphere but table lamps over the games so you can actually see what you're playing.
More going on than you think
On any given weekend, Dice on Draft might have a rotating craft class (candles, art, something you won't see coming), a drag show hosted by local performers, or a D&D night in full swing. The Saturday craft classes are a two-hour experience designed to be the perfect low-key move after a big Friday. You show up, make something you'll actually want to keep, and do it with mimosas around you. The drag nights are free to enter and one of the only shows of their kind in the Cincinnati area.
Right for your group
The space has about 10 public tables and a private room that seats up to 12, bookable for parties. Dice on Draft is LGBTQ+ friendly and pet friendly, brings in a mostly local crowd, and lands somewhere between chat-and-chill and actually having a great night. Light bites are available, including snack packs, hot dogs, and locally made charcuterie boards, and you're welcome to bring your own food and games. Covington itself is an easy walk or drive from Cincinnati, and the neighborhood around Dice on Draft is exactly the kind of block you want to end up on.
