Sorry @dudewithsign, we’re on the bandwagon.
In fact, I’m surprised I’ve put my phone down long enough to write this blog. Yesterday, I was rolling my eyes at every TikTok text message or Instagram post I’d see, but today, life feels a little different. The dark clouds of boredom have rolled away with the simple flick of my badly manicured finger as my feed scrolls from one delicious tok to the next. (Gosh I’d trade my stockpile of boxed mac ‘n cheese for a mani right now.)
Anyways, as soon as I downloaded TikTok, I realized I’m way behind on all the fun. There they were: brides bashing wedding cakes like piñatas, frozen White Claw slushie recipes, wedding gowns floating down fairytale staircases...I was hooked. It was like a constantly moving Pinterest board with an occasional laugh-until-your-belly-hurts bonus. I think I might even see an ab poking through!
Here’s a roundup of my favorite TikToks I found while in my first rabbit hole.
I’m sure by this point I’ll be ready to swing a bat at something too

It’s nice to know I’m not the only one that’s this bored

I’m not getting married unless it looks like a Taylor Swift video
Speaking of Taylor, here’s that White Claw slushie you’ve been scrolling for
I’m sure you remember meme-famous Brittany
I might actually try this if I can stay off TikTok long enough
But my favorite recipes are from @iamtabithabrown, who has 1.5m followers after just 5 weeks
Monkeys are always a good sign that you’ve fallen into a rabbit hole
