What is the total duration of this tour?
This is a full-day experience. Including travel from Tulum (approx. 2-2.5 hours each way) and all the stops, you should plan for the entire day, typically 8 to 10 ours from pickup to drop-off.
What time do we leave?
The main advantage of a private tour is flexibility, so we can start at the time you prefer. However, we strongly recommend an early departure (e.g., 7:00 AM). This allows us to arrive at Chichen Itza before the large tour buses, beating both the crowds and the intense midday heat.
What should we wear and what do we need to bring?
We recommend: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes. Chichen Itza is a large site with lots of walking. A swimsuit and a towel for swimming at Cenote Ik Kil. Eco-friendly sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses (the sun is strong). Cash (pesos) for souvenirs, drinks at lunch, and gratuities for your driver or guide. A camera to capture the memories!
