Why do we have to leave from Cancun if we are staying in Tulum?
This is one of our most common questions! While Tulum has stunning beaches, it does not have a port or marina large enough to accommodate luxury yachts of this size. The main marinas are in Cancun. That's why we've made it a seamless, all-inclusive experience by providing private, comfortable roundtrip transportation from your doorstep in Tulum directly to the yacht.
What is the total duration of the trip, including travel?
You should plan for a full-day experience. The private transport from Tulum to the Cancun marina is about 1.5 to 2 hours each way. The yacht charter itself is typically 4 to 6 hours on the water. In total, you can expect the entire experience (from pickup to drop-off) to last approximately 8 to 9 hours.
What does the "basic cocktail preparation" include? Do we need to bring our own alcohol?
We provide a stocked cooler with plenty of ice-cold bottled water and beer, along with a full setup for basic cocktails—this includes ice, sodas (Coke, Sprite), and juices (like pineapple, cranberry, and orange). You only need to bring your group's preferred bottles of spirits (e.g., tequila, vodka, rum), and our crew will be happy to mix the drinks for you!
What happens if there is bad weather?
Your safety is our #1 priority. If the tour is canceled by the port captain due to unsafe weather conditions (like high winds or a serious storm), we will first try to reschedule your trip for another day. If you are unable to reschedule, you will receive a full refund. We do not cancel or refund for light, passing rain or cloudy skies.
