Where are you located?

Sandbar Yoga is a mobile studio that brings the yoga experience to you. We primarily operate in Ocean City, Maryland; Cape Charles, Virginia; and along the Nanticoke and Pocomoke Rivers. Simply let us know your preferred location, and we'll handle the rest.

Question 2

What happens if there's bad weather during my excursion?

Accepted Answer

In the event of inclement weather during your scheduled excursion, we will make every effort to reschedule your experience during your stay. If rescheduling isn't possible, a full refund will be issued. We appreciate your understanding in these situations.

Question 3

What times of day do you recommend for excursions?

Accepted Answer

If you're sensitive to heat or sunlight, we highly recommend booking during sunrise or sunset hours in the summer. During the shoulder seasons (April, May, September, October), mid-afternoon sessions are pleasant and recommended.

Do I need to have any yoga experience?

Accepted Answer

No yoga experience is necessary! At Sandbar Yoga, we welcome beginners and those with a beginner's mindset. Our approach is inclusive, and we strive to meet you at your level, providing a supportive environment where you can explore yoga at your own pace.

Do you only offer yoga?

Accepted Answer

In addition to yoga, we offer a variety of experiences including beach or FlowMotion™ mat Pilates, sound healing ceremonies, and guided meditations and breathwork practices. Each modality caters to different needs, whether you're seeking relaxation or a more energetic experience. We're dedicated to providing a diverse range of wellness practices.

Question 6

What do I need to bring with me for my session?

Accepted Answer

You only need to bring yourself and a water bottle. We provide yoga mats, paddle boards, life vests, and the rest, allowing you to focus on your practice.

Question 7

What do I need to know for the boat cruise?

Accepted Answer

Participants should be able to lift their leg over the side of the boat and climb on and off as needed. We ensure all safety measures are in place, including life jackets for each participant, whistles, flares, and other USCG-required safety gear. You may need to step off the boat into water up to knee-deep, so it's advised to wear quick-drying exercise clothes. We have extra sunscreen and bug spray available if needed.

What is the weight limit for FlowMotion™ mats and stand up paddle boards?

The weight limit is approximately 285 lbs.
