Do we need any pottery experience?

Not at all! Our events are designed for beginners. Whether you're painting or hand-building with clay, our team will guide you every step of the way—no pressure, just fun.

What’s the difference between painting pottery and hand-building?

Paint-your-own pottery lets you decorate pre-made ceramic pieces like mugs, dishes, and vases. Hand-building involves sculpting your own piece from wet clay—think vases, ring dishes, or mini sculptures. Both options are beginner-friendly and creative in different ways!

Can we bring food or drinks?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Bring your favorite snacks, desserts, or drinks (yes, wine and bubbly are welcome for 21+). We provide tables for food setup.

How long does the event last?

Accepted Answer

Most events last around 2 hours, giving your group plenty of time to create, connect, and celebrate. Need more time? Ask us about extended sessions.

Question 5

When do we get our finished pieces?

Accepted Answer

Painted pottery is glazed and kiln-fired by our team and will be ready for pickup in 7–14 days.
Hand-built clay pieces require firing and glazing, and will be ready in 4–6 weeks. We’ll notify the event organizer when items are ready for pickup.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a refund or reschedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours will result in forfeited payment.

What’s the group size range?

We host private pottery parties for 8–30 guests. Have a different group size? Just reach out—we're happy to work with you.

What should we wear?

Accepted Answer

Dress comfy and come prepared to get a little artsy. Aprons are not provided, and clay and glaze (paint) have a way of finding their way onto happy hands (and sometimes shirts). The good thing is all clay and glaze (paint) will wash out in the washing machine!

Question 9

What if someone in our group is from out of town—can you ship their pottery?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We’re happy to ship finished pieces to out-of-town guests. Just let us know at the event, and we’ll provide a shipping form and pricing. Shipping costs vary based on size, weight, and destination, and are typically between $12–$20 per piece.
