What does a Hot Take Party involve?

Each party includes a mix of educational content, playful activities, and open discussions around the theme (Tasting) of your choice, whether it's dirty talk, flirting, reigniting the spark, or another topic. You can also expect hands-on explanations of various toys and tools. Our aim is to create an experience that’s both informative and fun!

What is a Tasting?

In the context of Hot Take* a tasting is an immersive and playful theme/topic of the party. A Tasting is designed to give participants a small, sample-sized experience of various topics related to intimacy, pleasure, and relationships. Much like a wine or food tasting, participants get to explore a variety of ideas and practices, but in a low-pressure, interactive setting.

Each tasting is focused on a specific theme—whether it's dirty talk, solo pleasure, or reigniting the spark—and involves guided activities, discussions, and hands-on exploration. We introduce concepts, offer tools, and create opportunities for participants to experiment with techniques, ask questions, and reflect on their own desires. The goal is to provide a fun, safe, and informative space where people can "taste" different aspects of intimacy without feeling overwhelmed or judged.

A tasting might include exercises, demonstrations, journaling, partner activities, or playful & interactive games, all designed to help participants take home new insights and practical knowledge. It's an approachable way to dip your toes into topics you might be curious about, without diving too deep all at once!

Is Hot Take therapy?

Hot Take does NOT provide mental health therapy. Our parties are designed to initiate conversations, inspire curiosity, and learn something new.

If you wish to further explore your sexuality or seek therapeutic services, Hot Take will be happy to provide you with relevant resources and mental health referrals upon request.

Question 4

What if I want more support/information/resources?

The Sexperts will ensure all Hot Take party Hosts receive an outline of resources after each party to send to the other participants. Resources may include but are not limited to; local sex shops, books, articles, podcasts, games, worksheets, ect.

Also, the topics discussed may bring up thoughts and feelings you would like to explore deeper. If you would like to seek out counseling-related services, a Sexpert can provide you with referrals. Question 5

What if I no longer wish to participate in the Hot Take party?

Accepted Answer

No Hot Take party is completely risk-free. However, we do not anticipate that anyone will be harmed or distressed during this party. You may stop participating in the party at any time. Hot Take does not offer refunds. The topics discussed may bring up thoughts and feelings you would like to explore deeper.

Will you share our information?

Accepted Answer

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. All information shared during the party will be kept strictly confidential (Vegas rules) and will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.

Question 7

Will sex toys be available for purchase?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will have a selection of toys available for purchase at the party. These items are priced slightly higher than market value for convenience, so you can take them home right away. If you prefer to purchase the products yourself, we’ll also provide links to all the toys discussed and displayed during the event.

What if I want to host a Hot Take party but I do not live in Seattle?

Hot Take currently serves the greater Seattle area, however if you live further away and wish to host a party please contact us to make arrangements. Prices may be subject to change due to travel costs.

Question 9

What if I do not have a space big enough for my group?

Accepted Answer

We prefer the host have a space to comfortably accommodate the size of the party, however if a larger space is required please let us know-we may be able provide a space for you. Rates are subject to change.

Question 10

How long is a party?

Accepted Answer

For groups of 6 people or fewer, parties are typically 2 hours long. For groups of 7 or more, parties are extended to 3 hours to accommodate more participants and activities.

Question 11

What if we’re a couple?

Accepted Answer

Couples parties have a minimum requirement of 3 couples and start at 2 hours. These events focus on connection and communication between partners, with activities designed to enhance intimacy in a comfortable group setting.

How do I book a Hot Take party?

Accepted Answer

1. Submit an Inquiry
Visit www.hottakeco.com and submit a booking inquiry with your preferred date and estimated group size.

2. Confirm Availability
We'll confirm whether your requested date is available.

3. Reserve Your Date
If available, we'll send an invoice for a $100 booking deposit. Once the deposit is paid, your party is offically scheduled. The deposit is applied toward your total party fee.

4. Final Payment
The remaining balance is due not later than 7 days before your party date.

What is the party duration and pricing?

Groups of 6 or fewer:
- 2-hour party 
- $300
- Option to add additional time for a fee

Groups of 7 or more
- 3-hour party 
- $400 total
- Option to add additional time for a fee
