The beauty of this package is that we handle the heavy lifting — all you need to bring is yourself and the good vibes! Here's what we suggest tossing in that beach tote:

☀️ Sunscreen — trust us, you'll thank yourself later
💧 Water — we cannot stress this enough, hydration is everything on a South Florida beach day
🥥 Browning lotion — if you're going for that golden tan, we love Maui Babe and it happens to be a top seller right here at the shop!
👙 Whatever makes you feel good — your favorite beach read, a speaker, snacks, you name it
🌊 A float or pool noodle — if you plan on living in the water all day, grab one and make yourself at home out there

Everything else? Already waiting for you on the sand. 🤙

Is there a place nearby for food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Depends on your vibe — but you're in luck because Deerfield Beach has a little something for everyone!

🏪 7-Eleven — Right next door and perfect for stocking up your cooler with all the essentials before you hit the sand
🌊 Oceans 234 & JB's — Right on the boardwalk just steps from the beach, both serving up great food and drinks with that perfect ocean backdrop
🥗 The Breakhouse — Perfect for grabbing snacks and bites to bring back to your setup. Order online and just walk over to pick it up — easy as that
🐋 The Whale's Rib — A Deerfield Beach institution and a must if you're looking for the perfect post-beach spot. Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and it never disappoints.

Pro tip: If your package includes a cooler, swing by 7-Eleven first, load it up, and you're set for the whole day without missing a beat on the sand!

Where should we park?

Accepted Answer

We don't offer beach parking in our lot, but you have plenty of great options nearby!

🚗 Parking Garage — Right across the street from the shop, this is your easiest and most convenient option
🏖️ Kirk Cottrell Pavilion — A great landmark with paid beach parking, restrooms, and direct beach access. Perfect if you want to head straight to the sand
🌴 Beach Lot & A1A Lots — Several paid parking options scattered along A1A and around the island, all within easy walking distance of the beach

Getting dropped off via Uber or Lyft?
We recommend using the Kirk Cottrell Pavilion as your drop-off point — it's easy to find, has restrooms, and puts you right at beach access.

Pro tip: Deerfield Beach can get busy on weekends — the earlier you arrive, the easier parking will be. Give yourself a little extra time so the only thing your group is rushing to do is get their toes in the sand!

Question 4

Can I rent boards or water equipment with my package?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Surfboards and paddleboards are available to add on to any beach package — just head to the add-ons section when booking to throw one in.
🏄 Thinking about getting the whole group in the water? If everyone is down to try surfing or paddleboarding, we highly recommend adding on our Lessons or Clinic Package instead. You'll get expert instruction, all the equipment, and a whole lot more fun out of your time in the water — especially if your crew has never done it before!
Trust us, there is nothing better than watching your whole group catch their first wave together. It's the kind of moment that makes the entire trip.
