I've been meaning to come here for a while and finally made a trip out. The staff was so nice and friendly and the candies are so delicious and unique. So happy to have found such a fun local place! Hoping to come back and do one of the candy making classes soon!

The guy that served me today was very pleasant. The customer service at this establishment is immaculate. He made every single transaction personable with everyone I seen him take care, he even gave me a gift because Father’s Day was over and they had extra. This is the customer service that keeps me coming back I will definitely be using them for events.

Can’t wait to go back to this place! We walked in and they were making a fresh batch of candy - the two ladies working were so nice they offered us samples of the candy they were making (which was still warm and tasted heavenly) and we were offered a sample of their gummies. We ended up buying 5-6 different flavors and they had teacher thank you bags which we bought for gifts also! Got home and tried the Sour candy and WOW I will be going back just for those!!!! I am a sour lover and most sour candy is sour to start and sweet to begin but not this - it was the perfect amount of sour and it was throughout the entire candy. My family really enjoyed everything and the workers were super sweet and were just kind of chit chatting with us! They told us about the candy making classes they do in the evening and we will definitely be signing up for one of those!

I picked up an order from here and I am obsessed! The flavors of everything are so good. The level to detail in their designs and flavors are top tier. The amount of candy I got will last me for a while but the next time I have an event I will have pappabubble in mind for yummy party favors! The staff was so kind and helpful explaining the flavors and options they have. They have hard candy, gummies, sour candy, and i think home made marshmallows. Also they have themed candy and do custom orders. I was also given a fresh complementary cookie and I thought that was so kind.

I randomly found this vendor on a google search and I am so glad I did. Jesse was really kind and responsive all the way and was highly communicative through the whole process of designing, making, and delivering a custom candy order. The flavor and the design was on point and exactly what I asked for. He was also generous with sending over the extras he had produced so I received much more than what I asked for. The order was completed and arrived much earlier than I hoped for, which is great! He shipped the candy over from Texas to California, and the candies were so carefully packaged, there was no damage. A small group of people in this world hold their jobs at a higher standard and regard their duties with extra pride and effort, and Jesse is definitely one of them. A true work of art, that is also tasty. Thank you

I have never been to the shop personally, since I live a few hours away, but my aunt gave me some of their candy. I have only tried the Texas mix and the sour mix. They are AMAZING! I just recently placed an order online to get more. The sour mix is a favorite. It stays sour all the way through, and the flavors are on point. Definitely worth the shipping fee. If I'm ever back in Houston visiting family, I will definitely try to stop in the shop!

Such a cool candy shop with handmade hard candy and Marshmallows. The staff was so friendly and informative about their candy making process. The candy is so good and homemade in store. Lots of free samples as well! A must see in The Heights!

Amazing candy and the customer service is top notch. Felt truly at home and it was so fun to strike up some conversation with the folks there. You can tell they’re passionate about their craft and the delicious candy is a reflection of that. Love the marshmallows but the hard candies are a work of art!

I stopped in today to get some hard candy like the candy my daughter and I like to watch be made online. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by two friendly folks who were making candy. I told them my daughter loves to watch candy made and asked if could take a picture. They told me, “of course” and then helped me get a better angle and then gave me a sample of the still-cooling hard candy. While I was paying for a bag, one of the two folks brought me a bag of odds and ends from something they were working on “for my daughter who loves to watch candy made.” All three people I met working in this adorable shop were great! I can’t recommend it more. (As a bonus, there is parking on-site!)

The texture of their gummy candy and creativity with flavors is second to none. I like their long lasting hard candies. The shop is very cute and clean and fun if you bring your kid with you.

The owner was so kind to accommodate our group so we could all get there to watch the awesome candy making! Joyce, Hector and Tessa was so friendly and patient with all our kids (and we had many!) They explained the process to us and we were amazed. The kids had a blast and all the candy was really good! We're so glad there is one in Houston, because we've been looking for a candy store like this for awhile. Definitely will be back for more goodies!

Jesse has definitely got himself a great little set up in the Heights. It's very informative about what they offer, and the candies are absolutely delicious. He also gave me really good information on the classes that they hold for groups of four to eight. That's something I plan on looking further into in the future. Stop by there and get you some candies. It's definitely worth the trip and the money.

I found this place by walking by and decided to go in with my family. Joyce was very kind from the start and knowledgeable about the items sold in store. She also had great recommendations for my 5 year old. Everything is made from scratch in house and packed with flavor. I definitely recommend coming here! Thank you Joyce for being such a kind hearted and welcoming person! We will be back to support this business and let others know as well.

Review from 11 yo daughter: I would give this 50000000 stars if I could! And I have a million reasons to do so, most of them being the staff. They’re so nice every time I come, and it’s sweeter than the candy, which leads me to another reason. The candy tastes delicious, and I wouldn’t even call it candy because it’s so much better than any other. The candy doesn’t taste very artificial, even though it DOES have artificial flavoring. For example, I had a candy that was cherry flavored, and it actually tasted like cherry, whereas if I was eating something else, it would just be extremely sweet. Thank you so much, Papabubble!

We celebrated my "29th" birthday at Papabubble with an amazing candy making experience. We had a group of 8 and everyone had the best time as we chose custom colors and flavors to create a delicious treat! Jesse and Joyce were the greatest hosts and we left with bags of candy, full stomachs, and cheesy smiles on our faces! We felt the joy of a kid in a candy store...literally! Would 100% recommend the experience for all ages or even just stop by to grab a treat and check out the place!

their candy satisfied me at first taste and never got that boring mood afterwards. The space is very clean and the workers there are very welcoming. I would say this place is very underrated by how so little people know about this place. Try it out sometime, I truly recommend it.

This place is so much fun!! My fiance and I went for a date to make candy. It smells so good when you walk in! The class is a lot of fun, and you get to keep the candy you make! We ended up being the only two in the class so we got to do everything ourselves and keep so much candy! I definitely want to go back again!

The candy's taste, texture, and ingredients are the BEST in Houston. The owner's service is AWESOME! I am so thankful we finally have handmade candy nearby, I might just cry.

So my cousin and I took the imagery candy class and it was so fun!! Really laid back and very clear instructions! We really did enjoy it! We picked design,colors and flavor! They turned out very cute!! Thank you so much to Daisy, she really went above and beyond to make this experience fun!

I have been wanting to stop for a long time but saw they had a taffy class so I signed the kids up for it and I have NO REGRETS! The staff is so helpful and friendly we made delish saltwater taffy and purchased some of their image candies. This place is a hidden gem! Everyone should go and taste the candy but if you have the time take a class!!

Making lollipops at Papabubble Houston was such a fun, hands-on experience with friendly staff, and I loved creating a delicious treat while learning how handmade candy is made!
