Papabubble started in Barcelona in 2004 to bring old-school, hand-pulled candy making back to life. Its Houston shop in the Heights runs as part candy store and part live show, with makers pulling fresh candy in front of customers throughout the day. Guests love watching the process up close, then getting their own hands in it.

What do we need to have ready at our place?
You'll need about 10 by 10 feet of open space, two outlets nearby, access to water, and a doorway wide enough for the candy table. Papabubble brings everything else.
When do we arrive?
We will arrive about an hour before to get set up and make sure we're pouring sugar at the beginning of our time slot. It takes about 30 minutes for us to clean up.
Can we drink?
Yes - but remember, we're working with 300 degree sugar, so please partake responsibly.
How many people can join the class?
At-home classes can handle a bigger crowd than the in-shop class, which is capped at 15. [Confirm the maximum group size with the partner before publishing.]
Does anyone need candy making experience?
Not at all. Your candy maker walks everyone through each step, so you can show up knowing nothing and leave with lollipops you made yourself.
