The tour includes a guided walking tour of the Garden District, a visit to three local eateries for a full meal of unique Cajun and Creole specialties, a brief tour of the Lafayette Cemetery, exploration of the Garden District's architecture, and a visit to locally-owned shops. All food, drinks, tax, and tips for all restaurants are included in your ticket price.

What should I wear for the tour?

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as the tour involves a good amount of walking. Also, bring anything you might need for the weather as the tours go on in all weather conditions.

Can the tour accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the tour can accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, including vegetarian, shellfish allergies and gluten-free. Not recommended for vegan diets or extreme allergies. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare the best experience.

What kind of food and drinks can I expect on the tour?

You can expect a full meal of unique Cajun and Creole specialties spread out over three local eateries. The first food stop also includes your choice of an alcoholic or n/a beverage. At the beignet stop, you can enjoy a cafe au lait as well.

The tour lasts for 3 hours- we walk and talk for about 45 minutes prior to eating at the first stop. It's recommended to hydrate and eat a little before the tour.
