Captain Yak (Greg) did a great job! He was very knowledgeable, prices good, and the equipment he provided for us to use was well cared for and comfortable. We will definitely use his services again when we are in St. Pete!

We rented a double kayak and had a great time! We visited Shell Key. It was about a 45 minute kayak each way to the beach, on the way back we went through two Mangrove tunnels, the second one was very small and felt super adventurous. We paddled around a sandbar with hundreds of white pelicans. We saw one small shark on the paddle in and horseshoe crabs, there were also a ton of fish jumping. The beach water was clear with tons of shells. Overall a great day. We were given good equipment and a clear map. Thanks!

We rented 2 tandems and were on the water for a little over 3 hours. We loved seeing the mullet jump and the cormorants swim under our boat. It was a relaxing and comfortable trip. Captain Yaks map and suggestions were just what we needed.

Great knowledge combined with great personality. We saw all kinds of wildlife, including dolphins and more white pelicans than we could count! Spent time on both sides of Shell Key. A spectacular day!! Added bonus: he is a Naval veteran with some amazing stories to tell.

Really fun experience kayaking out to Shell Key through the Shell Key Preserve and the surrounding mangrove ecosystem. Capt Yak was friendly, knowledgeable and set a good pace for the mixed experience crowd. Kayaks were in great shape and had good back support. Would highly recommend.

Today my other half (Nancy),and myself,took a 3 hour tour with Capt YAK kayaking out to Shell Key. It was an amazing day. Not only was the weather beautiful,but our guide GREG,was awesome. Very friendly,knowledgeable,great sense of humor and was always 👌 looking out for us. I have done many of these trips in Florida,by far he was the best guide. The tandem kayak we rented was the most comfortable also. I own my own kayak,he put really nice seats on his. Definitely worth mentioning. Speaking as a fairly experienced kayaker,this is the outfitter you want to choose.
