"Great tour with a great guide! You hit a few good food spots and get lots of history. Would definitely recommend repeat visits since it gets changed up every so often"

Michelle is very knowledgeable about the city and has infinite recommendations, for wherever you are staying. She is very personable and we will definitely book with her again next time we are here!

Great tour in an off the beaten path in NOLA. Michelle was AMAZING!

Michele was a fantastic guide and the perfect way to kick off our trip! Her deep local knowledge of the French Quarter made the tour both insightful and fun. She gave us great recommendations for food and drinks, and even followed up afterward with more tips — above and beyond! Michele is passionate about the real culture of NOLA, not just the touristy spots, and if you listen to her, you’ll fall in love with it too. It was a hot day, and we truly appreciated her energy and thoughtfulness in pointing out great places to cool off with a refreshing drink. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend her to anyone wanting an authentic New Orleans experience! We were even able to venture on our own in the following days of our trip and it was FANTASTIC! So appreciative of all the gems of info she shared to us!

So good! Best po boy I’ve ever had in my life. She was so open, vulnerable, honest. And, it’s such a beautiful, colorful, artful, soulful neighborhood, with incredible, breathtaking views in Crescent Park. Highly recommend.

Michelle is very knowledgable of her hometown. She brings fun elements of history and architecture. The food was amazing! She also gives other recommendations for what to do after the tour. Highly recommend if you want to get out of the French Quarter.

Great tour. Michelle took us to some places we would have never visited on our own. Great afternoon talking, eating great food, and exploring a new neighborhood.

This was a great tour of New Orleans and we went to places neither of us have been to before and learned a lot about the area! We absolutely loved it and had a blast. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to get out of the tourist trap areas in New Orleans and wants to learn about the history.

This experience was amazing, and we would recommend it to anyone staying in the New Orleans area! Michelle is knowledgeable about the area and happy to provide insights and details you didn’t even know you needed to ask about! She’s well connected and loves to share the best that New Orleans has to offer! We will be back and book with Michelle again!

The Bywater food tour was fantastic! Michelle's deep knowledge of the city, friendly demeanor, and witty humor made for an unforgettable experience. From the delicious food to the insightful recommendations for exploring beyond the tourist areas, every moment was a damn delight. Highly recommend for anyone looking to dive into New Orleans culture.

Really great experience with Michelle outside of the French Quarter for some gems in the Bywater neighborhood - she shared a lot of amazing local history and yummy food to try!

My husband and I loved getting to know more of the city this way. Michelle is very knowledgeable on history too which made the experience even better!

You will not go wrong booking this tour! It was like Michelle was a long, lost friend who you met up with years later. She gave us so many options for food stops. We just sort of rolled around town, hung out, laughed, talked about everything under the sun, and learned a ton about NO. It was like catching up with an old friend and having them show you all the hip places to be. Excellent.

Our family was in New Orleans for 12 days and took many tours. By far the best were guided by Michelle Mashon. She is a native of the city and knows all the best history and places to visit away from the normal tourist spots. I would give her 6 stars if that was possible.

What a fun tour! I learned so much and Michelle was an awesome host! You can tell she’s local and knows her stuff. Made some excellent recommendations for the rest of our trip as well

Absolutely fabulous time with Michelle. Cannot recommend this tour enough! It absolutely delivers value for money (which can be hard to find in NOLA!) She was incredibly knowledgeable, fun and engaging. We’ve done lots of tours here in New Orleans and this was one of our favourites.

I can’t recommend this tour enough! Michelle took us to many awesome local spots that we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own. She was also super considerate, tailoring the tour to our dietary needs and how we were feeling that day. We had such a great time. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Michelle was the best guide for local bars and New Orleans cocktails. We had fun at Muriel’s, seeing the upstairs balcony and seance room. Michelle has been a bartender and helps everyone with what to order. There’s no better guide!

Michelle’s Bywater tour was one of the highlights of our New Orleans vacation. It felt well-organized, unique, and was full of surprises and useful information for our stay. It truly felt like a locals’ experience. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see a different side of New Orleans, eat how the locals do, and walk through a historic neighborhood off the beaten path. 11/10 experience for our group.

This was our second tour with Michelle and she was just as energetic and knowledgeable as our previous time with her. We visited some great cocktail bars and everything felt perfect for our group and energy. Highly recommend Michelle and her tours if you’re looking for something a bit more off the beaten path. We’ll absolutely use her services next time we’re in town!

This tour was a blast. Michelle was very knowledgable about New Orleans history and current events and we learned a lot. She took us to a couple of lesser known bars which was great.

If you want to experience local life, cuisine, art, and culture, presented by on individual who makes you feel like you have been life-long friends, then this is the tour for you. Michelle had great communication, informative history stories, and instinctively adapted the tour with perfection. She made us feel like we belonged in the Bywater community. From delicious food stops to beautiful house and people, we enjoyed every second of the excursion.

Michelle was extremely knowledgeable about the city. She was very good at making everyone feel included.

Michelle brought us to some great gems in a underrated neighborhood and really brought the history and culture of the community to life- Even though there were some people on different wavelengths up front, she made the tour incredibly fun for everyone involved, and one of the highlights of our New Orleans Trip. Highly recommend!
