About this Experience

What you'll do:

You'll step out of a plane at 10,000 feet above the Poconos Mountains and free-fall over one of the most scenic landscapes on the East Coast, no experience needed, just a willingness to go.

  • Pre-jump orientation – Your certified tandem instructor walks you through everything before you leave the ground: gear fitting, body position, what to expect during freefall, and how to land.

  • Gear up and safety check – You'll be fitted with a full tandem harness and connected to your instructor, who handles all the technical work so you can focus on the jump.

  • The freefall – You'll exit the aircraft and hit speeds around 120 mph for roughly 60 seconds of open-sky freefall above the Pocono Mountains.

  • Parachute deployment – Your instructor deploys the chute, and the pace shifts completely; you drift down with a wide-open view of the Pennsylvania landscape below you.

  • Landing and the moment after – You'll touch down at the dropzone where your friends and family can watch and meet you the second you land.

From the moment you arrive to the moment your feet hit the ground, the whole experience runs about two hours, and you leave having done something most people only ever talk about.

Why we love it for your group:

  • No experience required – Tandem skydiving means your instructor does the technical work; you just show up and jump, making it genuinely accessible for first-timers.

  • Spectator-friendly dropzone – Friends and family can watch the landing from the ground, so the whole group shares the moment even if they're not jumping.

  • Large group accommodations – Pegasus handles groups efficiently, making it a strong pick for birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties, and corporate outings.

  • Tri-state location – The facility sits about an hour from Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey, which means less travel and more time for the experience.

  • Safety-first operation – Instructors here log thousands of jumps, and the aircraft and equipment are maintained to professional dropzone standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take my camera in my skydive?

When you make a tandem skydive, you are considered a student skydiver. Per the rules of the United States Parachute Association, student skydivers cannot jump with any kind of video or photography equipment. For the safety of you and your instructor, unlicensed skydivers will not be permitted to bring along a camera, even a small format sports camera. Your instructor or videographer may use these tools to record your jump for you. Be assured that these are professional skydivers trained to use these cameras while also maintaining the proper safety procedures during a skydive.

Do I need prior experience to skydive?

You don't need experience; your instructor has all the experience you need to enjoy skydiving. But you'll need to be able to do two different positions, arch your body in freefall and lift your legs for landing, don't worry, it's not that complicated; we have been taking people over 105 years old.

Can I bring my friends/family with me?

We have an area for friends and family to wait while you complete your skydive. We also have an outdoor viewing deck from where they can watch skydivers land. Children under the age of 15 years are not allowed to be left unsupervised at any point in time. If both parents are booked in for a skydive, they must take turns to stay with the child/children while the other person goes for their tandem. They must notify our staff about this when they check in for their skydive.

What happen if I get weather out?

Speed winds, poor visibility, rain, or low clouds are just some of the reasons that can delay or even cancel our skydiving operations. In case of bad weather, our team will announce a “standby”, which means we have to put our operations on hold. Regular announcements will be made updating you on the conditions while you wait at our location. If the weather shows no signs of improving, we have to cancel operations and reschedule for the next available date.

What do I wear for my Skydive?

Please dress suitably and comfortably for your skydive and be respectful of the local culture and sentiments. Athletic, comfortable clothes are advised. T-shirts/tops with sleeves and shorts that cover the thigh area are recommended so that the harness fits comfortably. Cold weather is not a problem, but if that's the case, make sure you bring some extra layers and gloves. Collared shirts should be avoided. (Flapping collars during freefall can be unpleasant.) Avoid wearing white or light-colored shorts or pants that may get dirty. Laced-up sneakers or sports shoes are ideal for your skydive. Please make sure your shoes don't have any buckles or studs on them. Not allowed: Swimwear. Not allowed: Sandals, boots, open-toe, or heeled/platform shoes of any type. Customers are advised to remove any precious jewelry, watches, and/or other accessories before their skydive. These can be placed in the free personal lockers at our locations. Every customer will be given protective eye goggles to wear during their skydive. So, if you need to wear prescription glasses or lenses during your skydive, please do so. You don't want to miss that view!

Is there a weight limit to skydive?

Your Safety and experience are our top priorities; for that reason, any jumper over 220 lbs will need to be evaluated by an Instructor to ensure the appropriate fit of the harness. Our weight limit for students is 265 lbs under approve of the instructor. Every passenger has to pay an extra fee when the weight is over 200 lbs. If this is your case, please call the office to make sure the harness will fit you right based on the weight distribution in your body.

Is there an age requirement to Jump?

The minimum skydiving age limit is 18, and there is no maximum age limit for skydiving.

Should I tip my instructor or videographer?

Tipping is neither required nor expected – but it's always appreciated if you had a great time.

Is my deposit refundable?

All reservations are instant and non-refundable. If you cannot jump on your reserved date, please let us know within 48 hours of anticipation. While we cannot refund your deposit, we can offer you to reschedule your jump within 1 year with no penalty or transfer your deposit to another jumper under special circumstances. This is a weather-dependent sport, and sometimes we do need to reschedule due to weather conditions.

How do I receive my video and how long does it take to receive?

You can expect your pictures and video by the end (8-9 pm) of the day that you jumped, but in most cases, you receive them within 1-4 hours of your jump. If you don't receive your video by the night of your jump, please contact us to send you the delivery link; we can even text it to you!

How long will my skydive experience take and when should I arrive?

Please arrive at your reservation time unless we call you to adjust your arrival time. From your reservation time, you can expect to jump and complete the entire experience in most cases in under 1 hour; however, we do ask that you don't plan your day too tightly and plan to spend up to 4 hours with us in case of weather delays or similar. This extreme is HIGHLY unusual, but we would like for you to be prepared! Safety is our top priority!
