Led by a 2x Master-Trained Color Analyst, you’ll take turns in the draping chair while carefully selected fabrics are placed around your face to compare warm and cool tones. You’ll see the difference in real time as the right colors brighten your complexion, soften shadows, and help you look more vibrant.
Each guest will leave knowing her undertone and whether she should look for warmer or cooler shades when choosing clothing, makeup, jewelry, and accessories.

During this personalized undertone analysis, each guest is draped in warm and cool colors to discover which temperature is most flattering. You’ll see the difference in real time and leave knowing whether to choose warm or cool shades for clothing, makeup, jewelry, and accessories.

Your undertone analysis experience: Every guest receives a private, one-on-one draping session to determine whether warm, cool, or neutral tones are most flattering.
Undertone Session: Each analysis takes approximately 10 minutes, allowing up to six guests per hour. This streamlined experience is perfect for larger groups, corporate events, bachelorette parties, birthdays, and anyone looking for a fun, fast-paced introduction to color analysis.
During each session, warm and cool drapes are compared directly against the face so guests can see which tones create the most balanced, vibrant appearance. Each person will leave knowing whether to look for warm, cool, or neutral shades when choosing clothing, makeup, jewelry, and accessories.
A note on timing: Events run for two hours and can accommodate approximately 12 guests. Additional time may be added for larger groups.
Come camera-ready, not makeup-ready: For the most accurate draping, please arrive with a clean, bare face and no makeup.
Please avoid colored contacts and self-tanner on the face.
Location: Most groups prefer to have ATX Color Studio travel to their location and set up the experience on-site. Groups may also come to the ATX Color Studio location, a private home studio in Bee Cave available for events.

What exactly is color analysis?
It's a personalized styling experience that pinpoints the colors most flattering to your natural features (your skin undertone, hair, and eye color). By draping different shades near your face, we reveal which colors make you glow and which ones wash you out, so you can shop, get dressed, and do your makeup with total confidence.
Where does the event take place?
Most groups prefer to have us come to them, and we'll happily travel to your location to set up the full experience. You're also welcome to come to us at the studio, a private home in Bee Cave available for events. Either way, all professional lighting, equipment, and materials are included.
How long is the event?
The base event runs 2 hours. I'll arrive about an hour before your start time to set up your space, then move into one-on-one sessions for your guests. Depending on the session type you choose and your group size, you may want to add extra time or an additional Color Analyst so everyone gets their turn. We'll help you map out the perfect timeline when you book.
How many guests can you accommodate?
It depends on which session style you pick, since each one takes a different amount of time per guest. As a guide, that's roughly 6 guests per hour for undertone sessions, 3 per hour for 4-season, and 2 per hour for full 23-season. Have a big group? Just ask about adding time or a second analyst.
What does each guest take home?
Every guest leaves knowing their best colors. For the 4-season and full 23-season options, guests also receive personalized PDF shopping guides for clothing, makeup, hair, and nails, emailed within 24 hours. Physical color swatch books can be added on too (see below).

How should guests prepare?
Come with a clean, makeup-free face for the most accurate read. We provide makeup wipes. Please also skip self-tanner on the face and neck (body is fine), colored contacts, tinted SPF, and any shimmer or glow skincare that could alter your coloring. Hair pulled back (we'll bring scrunchies!) and glasses off during your turn helps too.
