All lunch places accept dollars, but may have not great rates, and all souvenir sellers at Chichen Itza now accept credit cards as well as pesos or USD cash.

Do we really need to start early morning (06:30)?

Accepted Answer

It's a pretty strong recommendation but definitely not obligatory. By leaving your hotel at 06:30 we arrive at Chichen Itza as it opens, beat the heat, beat the crowds, get better photos of your private tour and can experience better the echos that are part of the design of the main and most famous buildings.

How much water do we need for the day trip?

Accepted Answer

Your car or van will have a cool box and water for all the group to drink throughout the day. There are many places where you could buy other soft or alcoholic drinks, which can of course be stored in the cool box.
