Candle Chemistry is a family-run business founded by two siblings and their spouses with a shared passion for creativity and connection. Since 2019, they’ve helped thousands of guests craft custom candles, soaps, and body products using natural ingredients—all in a fun, welcoming environment designed to bring people together.
Additional information:
Group Size: Minimum of 6 guests to reserve a party
Booking Options:
Standard group reservations take place at the main candle bar during regular store hours
BYOB parties take place after 4pm and include a designated seating area
BYOB Guidelines:
Each person may bring one 750ml bottle of wine, 40oz of beer, or 4oz of spirits
$200 minimum purchase required for the group
Party Times:
Scottsdale, Tempe, Peoria: 1-hour parties available at 4pm, 5pm, or 6pm
Gilbert: 2-hour parties available for larger groups in a private party room
Candle Pickup: Candles take ~2 hours to set and can be picked up the next day
Food Policy: Food is not permitted at BYOB events in Scottsdale, Peoria, or Tempe

Frequently Asked Questions
Do i need to pay in advance?
Not at all, you can make the reservation and we'll charge the group or each guest when your in-store for your event.
Can i bring wine?
You sure can, if you book a byob party and these are at 4pm or later in all of our locations.
Is the minimum amount per person?
Not at all, the minimum per person would be $18 to $28, the group minimum would be $200 and we can still charge each guest individually.
How far out can i make a reservation?
We take reservations up to a year in advance.
Is there a charge to change or cancel my reservation?
Not at all, we understand plans change that is out of your control and we wouldn't penalize you for last min. changes. We do ask you to email us at invent@candlechemistry.com if you have any changes or questions.
