I was looking for a fun and calming activity for the kids, and your yoga classes were exactly what we needed! The children absolutely love it. The mix of movement, mindfulness, and play keeps them engaged and happy. What really stood out is the way you make yoga feel both accessible and magical for little ones. It’s such a special part of our routine!

As someone afflicted with migraines for the last 30 years, I was so excited to see the advertisement for a yoga workshop dedicated to this ailment. During the first workshop Johanna taught us poses that could offer relief at the onset of a migraine as well as how to use the bolsters to find comfort. Little did I know just how handy these tools would be. Though migraines are becoming less and less of a factor in my life as I’ve been more consistent with my yoga practice, the familiar aura and blind spots crept up on me a couple weeks after the workshop. As I’d learned from Johanna, simply laying on my back, eyes closed, legs raised in a legs up the wall pose gave me relief and the migraine did not worsen as it would normally. Seems so minor; but simply pausing and taking this pose made all the difference in how the rest of my day would unfold. For me this is huge progress and a long way from the nausea and excruciating pain that was a given anytime I felt a migraine coming on. I’m so grateful for the tools and knowledge these workshops have equipped me with.

I’ve attended countless workshops with Johanna, and I keep coming back for a reason—she truly puts her heart into every session she teaches. Each workshop is thoughtfully crafted, with creative and accessible transitions into poses that suit all levels. Practicing with Johnna is always a grounding and enriching experience—she brings a depth of insight to her practice, sharing wisdom that enhances both the physical and mental experience. You couldn’t ask for a more thoughtful, skilled, or inspiring yoga instructor!

I started practicing with Johanna in 2022. Over the past three years I have attended multiple group classes, events, private lessons & retreats under her guidance. From the very start I fell in love with the way Johanna leads her classes and incorporates meaningful themes to really ground you in your practice. Over time I developed flexibility as well as physical and mental strength I never knew I could achieve through both practice and meditation. I love that Johanna takes the time to really get to know her students and their individual needs. Through private one on one classes I was able to really focus on the poses I struggled with and broke through so many walls. I cannot recommend Johanna enough as an instructor! Her passion for yoga and her students is such a gift to the entire community!
